Damn deer

A friend and I are growing some plants at his house outdoors and we are having deer problems. His neighbor has been feeding the deer for years and they are use to humans now. He has been pissing around near the plants to try to keep them from eating out plants but they are still getting them. What can we do short of killing the deer or putting up a fence to get rid of these damn deer? We started out with close to 50 plants and they ate all but about 15-20 so far. I dont want to have to buy buds this fall. Help Peace.

buy predator urine. They may be used to a human scent, but using urine from an animal that preys on deer is one way to spook em off.
Another is fishing line. It's strong, almost invisible, and it freaks the shit out of deer when they run into it.
There are a bunch of other methods to deter animals from eating your grow. Personally i'd set up a deer blind, grab a bottle of whiskey, and my deer rifle. Pick off a couple of bucks and see how many come back to your grow area

I would love to do that but unfortunately he lives in a pretty populated area and we would have the cops there in seconds. He has at least three living in the neighborhood that we know of.
Thanks for the heads up on the predator urine. I will talk to him about it in the morning and we will probably go and get some this week.
Peace.

buy predator urine. I heard blood meal works well too, prehaps that's only for smaller animals though.

This thread was moved from Doctor's Diagnosis.
Reason: More appropriate for the Outdoor Cultivation forum, Doctor's Diagnosis is more for fixing problems with the plants themselves.

your grow op is near a residential area? Doesn't sound too safe to me.

depends on how visible your plants were
a friend of mine is doing that right now within city limits, the house is basically side by side his restaurant too to make it worse.
I know people who grow on their apartment balcony's with neighbors directly next to them. ex. side by side balcony's
