Agreed. Told ya man. Just be honest with her, she'd be cool. I have ordered 3 times from Herbies Seed bank and have had success each time. They package them very well and hidden. Also their prices are really fair. Another one is gorilla seed bank. Both give out freebies and are really good with their customer service.
Like PO said, stick with the short strains. Indicas or autoflowers are your best bet.
Peace and love.

they dont use credit cards anymore FYI.
Stay away from any skunks (smell) or pure sativas (hight) . Kush are usually mid to hard to grow (ive been told). I read northern lights is one easiest to grow for newbs. but I have no experience and dont know anyone who as grown it.
Autos are pretty easy. short. and auto flower. Do some research on them... might be what your looking for.
What kind of lighting are u gonna use?

If your gonna grow you might as well get killer smoke.
buy a 400w hps lamp ($130 online). grab 4 fem seeds (save u time on sexing). Do 4 plants, now that the wife is onboard.... and if u lose 1 or 2 you wont be too pissed. Why do all that work and get a midgrade oz when u get get a half pound of premo instead
For strains.... pure indicas or like maybe try auto widow (read it comes out real frosty for an auto ).

The light looks pretty ideal and not bad for the price, but I think I would throw in an extra 30 or 40 and just get a new one that way you know what you are buying, you got an idea of how long your bulb will last ya and hell, its new.lol.
Nice choice on the Auto Widows btw!

Although a 400w light would be prime... OP, can you exhaust 400w's of heat?
Don't forget how hot it can get up there. I had a 400W in my closet for a couple weeks and it got up to 98 degrees, I had to bump down to 250w and it was still around 85. This was with a powerful 6in inline fan blowing heat outdoors.
If you dont want autos or are worried about height, do some training on the branches ( LST - Low Stress Training ). This allows more light to your plant which gives you more bud in return. There is also a method called SCROG and SOG, one being "Screen of Green" and the other "Sea of Green"... These two are my personal favorite by the way.

Im not sure about that stuff.
But you can buy activated carbon at petsmart and places like that. Still might be better off buying one already made though

definetly don't cut any corners when you're trying to be as discreet as you are.
A 6" skinny filter would work perfect for your attic. Its short, light weight and takes up very little space.
