Tincture Problem

As some may have seen in my last post, I used about 6g of shake / 1 fl ounce of everclear. After about 5 days I sampled the product, but it doesn't seem that potent. I read online (after I started the tincture process) that one should decarb the weed (to convert THCA to THC) first.
Well I didn't. Oops. Is there anything I could do to make my tincture more potent, or is it too late?

usually tinctures sit for weeks. unless u heat it, its gonna take time to extract.
I find tinctures are not as potent as edibles for effects

Oh okay, I'll wait longer then. I was hoping this would be an awesome successful experiment :/ Shouldn't have been as eager.
But the shake was pretty dry, it sat around in a container for months. Maybe it didn't need to be decarbed

put the tincture in the freezer. let it sit over night. the next day shake the tincture bottle for 2-3 minutes and then refreeze it. shake and refreeze the tincture every 4 hrs. I'd do it for a day or two. A cold extraction is supposed to help preserve the cannabanoids you are trying to pull from the plant material.
I used to soak my tincture at room temp for 3-4 months before i'd strain it. I always thought it added potency.....,but it doesn't. The alcohol actualy dissolves the cannabanoids fairly quickly, after this you're only dissolving plant material. Not medicine.
now I use Dr. Jay's Recipe for making my alcohol tinctures. I can have a finished product within 3 days and it has a lot less chlorophyll / terpenes in it.
