before i would laugh and make some idiot comment about wearing a tin foil hat, but as each day passes, the more and more reality of war grows.
its known that china has restricted an airspace and demands arrangements before flying into this air space. its also known that the US flew into this air space and china sent out 2 fighter jets to either escort or attack if needed.

my first thought was china restricted this air space in hopes of covering something up. now that the US is sending these sub-hunting jets furthers these thoughts...

Yeah, from some volcanoes or earthquakes, they arent huge islands but if they become permanent Japan wants them and so does China.

China definitely does not want war with the U.S., afterall who owns all of America's debt?
There is nothing to gain from it for China but getting obliterated and having to forgive debt in reparations.
On the other hand, it's hard to say what the U.S. wants, but if their gunning for war I'm sure they would much rather have something new in the middle east.

i dunno man, if someone owes me money and is slacking, i usually do something about it.
about 15 years ago a friend of mine was staying with me and while i was out, he smoked up a good ounce in one sitting and moved out. since he was a friend i gave him a bit to pay me back, but as weeks went by i saw him less and less. a couple months later i found out he had spent 1200 on a half pound. when i went to collect either cash or bud, he blew me off. i caught him a week later and beat the stupid fuck out of him.

and lets be clear. we arnt picking a fight with china, china is drawing a very thin line a little too close to home. its hard not to cross even if youre not trying.

Note this is coming from an admitted socialist.
International Trade benefits all parties; as it allows participating members to specialize in various goods. Even if we are barely better at creating blue widgets when compared to china, china would be better off not to create blue widgets and create a trade surplus from some other good (and purchase the blue widgets with some of that other goods surplus).
China is one of the few countries that understands mutually assured destruction as well as a few other members of the security council...
We owe china money, we pay china when we have to. We are also good for paying china as economical crisis aside we create plenty of goods. Now also factor in that either of us attacking the other one means we both probably die.
