 Sriracha hot sauce factory in Calif. ordered to close over offensive odor

The judge said Huy Fong must suspend operations immediately, but also gave an open door to return to production.
“[Huy Fong must] immediately make changes in its site operations reducing odors and the potential odors,” the order stated, CNN reported.

I've been following this. Huy Fong already has backup plans to keep supply moving.
I've never paid more than $2.50 for a bottle of this. My guess is they will take advantage of the perceived shortage they will be increasing prices by $1.50 or so per bottle. Still a good deal in my opinion.

Subway has a line of sriracha enhanced products. I had the steak one yesterday and for once in a great while was impressed.

It's interesting how people are getting so worked up about food these days. Twinkies should have died out just to prove that they can deteriorate, and the sriracha pussies should eat more of it and become immune. Then little cock sauce babies can thrive and eventually we can have a fire breathing society.

I dont think people eat sriracha for the spice, it has a nice sweet flavor that goes really well for certain foods. If I want spice I sure as hell dont pick sriracha

It make a really good base for a wing sauce, il add butter and spice it up habeneros or ghost chilies.
