Seeds on plant with no buds!

Hello I have a couple plants and two of them have not shown sex and it is already September 4th! They were planted on may 15th. Anyways as I was closely examining them today I noticed a little pod stuck to one of the branches and as I opened it there was a half developed seed inside! Now there are no buds no pistils no pollen sacs but a seed was growing connected to the stem. The other one has shown no seeds or signs of sex. Is this extremely uncommon and will these plants put my others at risk for getting pollinated? Thanks very much for your guys consideration and time!

so female plants still have pistils that can be pollinated, even if they aren't flowering. Are you sure you don't have a male somewhere? Or have a hermie in your garden?

Well to pollinate there would have had to have been pistils at some point. Once they get germinated the pistils die off, and you are left with the bract, with a seed growing inside of it. It's quite possible he just never saw them.

Sounds like he's outdoors to me, so it could be preflowers got pollinated by a rando male plant out there.
But Idk where he could be geographically that the plant wouldn't be started flowering yet.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

ok people upstate new york its possible there could have been some preflowers i missed but its a all female crop no pollen sacs anywhere and there is still the mystery of the other plant that showed no sex at all and still has not. And the plant that had the seed growing on it only had one seed ill have some pictures tomorrow and that seed had a little thc on the outside of it but this is very strange indeed.

There are always the random seed that shows up unexplained. Every once in awhile your plants will pick up a piece or two of pollen and produce a seed. It happened to me just the other day, I found one half developed seed. Out of the 18 of 20 oz I've smoked so far that was the only one. Its happened a few times before, but rarely. My buddy lost his Afgoo cut but found 3 seeds in the last of the bud. It could be the next best chronic, could be crap. No idea where the pollen came from, he's even in a sealed-air-conditioned room.
Sometimes people just have a male in the area and you feel the wrath. I was watching a neighbors plants and saw two males with lots of sac, none of which looked opened, but he obviously let it go without sexing it. His buds were a few million seeds and a few specs of leaf material. I was afraid of getting pollen on me and bringing it home. My buds were fine though.
If you had a hermed plant, the nanner can show up in one spot unseen and pollinate locally and give you a few seeds in a small area.
The quantity and maturity of the seeds will give clues to when and how they were pollinated.
