Hey, my plant is into about 3 weeks flowering now, and the top biggest leaves are all super skinny. She's a diamond OG clone (indica dominated hybrid) and it's kinda freakin me out cuz indica is suppose to have fatter, darker leaves. My leaves are lighter than healthy because of a recent spider mite problem, but yeah i think it should be darker than it is. I also realized today that i've been burning her with nutrients. If you have any knowledge or suggestions for me i'd greatly appreciate it. So would she
PS, is it too early for the white hairs to start turning orange? I'm not sure if they're changing or the nutrient burn can affect the hairs. Thank you!
Ooooops--- I'm not sure what soil i'm using. my PH is kept between 6-6.5, i'm feeding it dyna gro bloom 1/4th teaspoon to a gallon, (water her a half gallon) i was watering about every other day, when she seemed she needed it. I actually gave her a full gallon two waterings in a row in an attempt to pump some nutes out. She's all out door. And finally this poor plant is my first attempt at growing!
Well whenever you are dealing with a hybrid, you are going to have genetic variations. Some of the offspring can show more indica traits, some more sativa.
No about the color of the plant, I can't help you without more info. There is a questionnaire at the top of the forum that you are supposed to fill out.
And yes over nuting can prematurely cause the hairs to turn color.
-------------------- Dude she isn't as young as she use to be.
Well, that wasn't exactly filling it out, but here goes.
It could be that you have been overnuting to a point where you have excess salt build up. I don't really know since you aren't telling me how often you are feeding. Is it every watering? Every other?
I would recommend flushing. To flush you need to run 3-5 times the amount of water to soil ratio, all within one day.
Do the leaves look too "skinny", not necessarily. But the plant definitely doesn't look like she's in perfect health.
