no doubt they're very successful, I wasn't disputing that. Underground hip-hop mc's just tend to have a lot more to say and actually in most cases more talent. However mainstream "joe rap fan" isn't intelligent enough to get the two, three, and even four level metaphors these guys are droppin so they naturally don't like it as much

Im not compairing the 2. I was talking about sucess, as a scale of intellegence. I mean i agree, intellegence isnt just about vast knowlage. But 36 mafia just come off as dumb shits. And you also cant deny that they had some help on there way to sucsess. They had a talent at rapping. Someone saw that. helped them out. Its the talent that has gotten them that far.

i also think they have more intelligence than talent.
