So yeah there is a new channel just for dogs called DogTV. It plays stuff specially for dogs. Although my dogs didn't give two shits when I had it on. They just slept.

Seems like a stupid idea to me most dogs retention is terrible anyway, my dog will glance at the screen if she sees or hears other dogs for a second then go back to licking her private parts or whatever.

They cant even see moving pictures at 60hertz...
Itll look like a game with super low frame rate.
If youre on a computer you can raise the refresh rate of your monitor...i think above 90 is what dogs can see...
I did it once and noticed my dogs actually started watching what i showed them.

My grandmas dog watches TV still, and she has an old tube TV...could they see them? Maybe thats why my dog doesn't give a fuck about TV.
She used to like spongebob when she was a puppy tho. I think we had a tube TV at the time so that'd explain it.
Also lol. I'm gonna get high as fuck and watch dogtv. That sounds awesome to me.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

They can see it, its just not a fluid "moving picture". They see choppy frames one at a time like whem youre playing video games and so much stuff starts going on that the frame rate drops.
Some newer tvs go up to 120 i believe. Since humans are fine at 60hertz and most badass video games have a standard FPS of 60 its sorta the norm for tvs...but computer monitors usually have more versatility when it comes to those things.
I have a custom pc with a video card and when i first read about the dog thing i changed all the settings on my comp and put on youtube videos of dogs barking and i noticed them staring intensely at the screen.
They could still see an old tv...just looks more like a fast choppy slideshow...but im sure that catches their attention too
And dont forget about the sound too...im sure that interests them too.

http://dogcare.dailypuppy.com/dogs-see-tv-same-humans-2862.html
Also talks about how they only see 2 colors too instead of uf humans seeing 3...
Essentially youre tv is a strobe light to them
