so i have a northern light plant that is in 3gal of fox farm soil that has been flowering for almost 7 weeks its grown under a 150watt hps and the buds are small but the trichs are almost all cloudy. I havent started flushing it yet but i watered it with ph'd water two days ago, how and when should i start flushing? also is it ready for harvest or are n. lights known to continue growing and fattening up after 7/8 weeks?

Depends on what you want. More of a up high harvest now. (myself I wouldn't recommend it). For a more couchlock high wait till some of the trichs are amber in color. This is actually the time that most buds are mature.
In other words if you want the most bang for your buck let go 8 weeks.

You can flush them now and let them grow to 8 weeks. That way they will use use the nutrients they have stored.

This thread was moved from Hydroponic & Agroponics.
Reason: Soil question in the hydroponics forum. I'll move it where it will be seen by more people.

If you're gonna run 3 times the amount of the soil one time is enough.

Myself I've been selling my smoke to clubs for years and I don't flush at all. I just go plain water the last few weeks. (Before I went hydro and I use the same method in hydro to be honest)
