The online servers are nowhere near populated enough,(usually a maximum of 6 or 7 ppl everyday) figured I'd see if anyone else here loves this game. 
You need to have Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition. ($4.99 or $5.99) Bought is best, but I'm sure you could get creative.

I'd suggest not using a s/n related to your acct, since it does show IPs.

I love duke, no matter how bad the new one was. 6-7 people on is a shame though. Ill probably try that out as ive been looking for that.
If youre into old school like that, try ZDaemon...free online multiplayer doom! Super modded and new maps all the time. Weekly tournaments and stuff like monday night ffa, wednesday night flags...etc. ive been in 8v8 ctfs where i can only spectate cuz the game is full.
You need the original doom wads, similar to needing the original duke, but if you PM me maybe i can help you out.

I checked out zDaemon and it definitely has more players, but I just dont have that much fun with Doom. It's always baffled me how Doom has a great online multiplayer following and Duke doesn't. Duke kicks way more ass.
DNF was disappointing, but about a month ago, a few modders made a mod for Duke 3D that's called "Duke Nukem Forever 2013" and is meant to give people the DNF they wanted in 2001, not the one they got a couple years ago.
