 One ballast 2 lights run off it. Where can be found?

I've heard tell of a ballast that is able to run 2 lights off of it and use only power of 1. Does anyone have some input where I can find this in U.S. Been searching threads only found amazon link at bottom Do not know how to call it....Thanks

Well there's no ballast that's going to reduce the amount of energy consumption by half. I'm pretty sure there are ballasts that run 2 lights, bu in no way use the same energy as 1.

ok thanks for the reply. I have not actually had my eyes upon it yet so I am gonna go with it it is resonable.Do you know where I can even see something like this on a web site? Do you know if this will or might be able to handle 2 1000 hps by hydrafarm? I have a total of 4 but only use 2 cause I scaled my first indoor way back!Thanks dam glad I found this site!

Is there a reason you are wanting a double ballast like that? You would have to really beef up whatever outlet that would be going into.

Most dual output ballasts are 240v.

Thanks "D." Ok so i need an electrician then. I have 4 wire and 3 wire allready in flex con ready to go plus extra breakers that are dual pole and some single pole,have 15 amp,20 combos, etc. Need to track down ballasts. Suggestions.

If he can't help you check ebay.
They tend to run about double the cost of the singles.
On another note, all my lights are wired to 240.

ok I searched rvfgardensupply here and found a link to their site. I did not see anything yet I will keep on a searching. 240 is the obvious choice now I had the choice in the beginning and elected not to switch my plugs before I started this here indoor. ballasts on my set now are switchable. Beacuse I scaled it back was gonna run 75 decided on 52. Hey shit happens, Live and Learn. Thanks
