Yeah - it looks like she has enough for now. From what I understood of the article, that's just the appeal fee to get them to consider looking at the case again.
I don't know all the details (just what you guys can read in the post) - my guess is it's a big deal in the UK because the UK government isn't going to help her at all.
And, I would guess that the UK isn't a death penalty country so it's more shocking there - although I don't think the US gives the death penalty for drug charges either.
So, the opinion is that it was a stupid thing to do, but even if she's dead guilty, it doesn't warrant the death penalty.

I agree that it doesn't warrant the death penalty. But when you start trafficking drugs to countries that DO have laws in place like this, you know what you are getting into. Is it right? Oh hell no. But she knew what she was doing.

(this is one where i posted because i was told to blog & post - not sure what the deal is other than i'm sure there's no direct connection between the company & the lady in bali.)
