I love guerilla growing This year I'm scaling up my indoor and not focusing as much on the outside, but will still be putting some stuff out. I'm going to do a patch of Mighty Freeze and MF hybrids..this is at a spot that I've been using for years..plants go out in may and I don't come back until July to sex and then again in September to harvest. It's a 10' x 8' spot and I try to cram about 50 plants in to start with and its thinned to around 20 or so females at the end of the year.
Also have around a dozen of a hybrid a friend of mine made; '(Sour Diesel x Old Time Moonshine) x Pure Afghan'. They're knee-high now and will go outside as soon as I get around to prepping the spots
Probably a few 5 gallon container plants as well; Bubba x Pakistani Sativa and my Big Sur Holy Bud x oldschool Reeferman Burmese hybrid. Maybe a couple rubbermaid tubs of autos if I get a wild hair up my ass :p

I used to grow pot. I still do grow pot, but I used to grow it too.

I did some work this year with auto flowering strains to see if they were worth adding to my seed lines. Tried a bunch of different strains in soil and hydro and didn't find them worth working with.
I brought in Girl Scout Cookies recently to start doing some work with. Took forever to find a true cut of it.
The current strains of seeds I sell to the clubs now is.
Sweet 16--Mikado X Sweet Tooth #3 Cannibal--OG Kush x Chem Dawg Man Eater--Green Crack x Sour Diesel Gina--Sweet 16 X GDP x Trainwreck Purple Monster--Purple Kush x GDP x Purple Erkle X Mendocino Purps
I'm eager to get to work with the GSC cause I haven't added anything new to my lineup in 3 years. I was thinking of doing a GDP x GSC cross but then found out GSC is made up of OG Kush x Cherry Pie (Durban x GDP) so it has GDP in it already. Now I'm thinking something along the lines of a Sour Diesel. That would make for a interesting tasting bud with what I would imagine would be quite a punch of potency across all the phenos.
All work is feminized using the STS method.

Yeah if crossed with the GSC it should make for at least one pheno with a sweet and sour type of taste to it. Won't know till I get the GSC fully running. I'm about to make one plant into 6 and then use those for mothers.

I nabbed a cut of a maine strain called Mother of all Berry. The cut is EXTREMELY photo sensitive and finishes super early. I can't wait to see her in action. Hopefully i have the real mccoy. Guess i won't know till september.

Hey Farmer what's up.
You know I haven't grown out the GSC yet but that will be soon so I can't include it in this but if I had to pick just one strain that I had to live with and no others I'd most likely go with Mikado.
Cannon Ball is still being worked on. I have everything pinned down so to say but just have to get the seeds a little more stable so to say. Plus there have been a few other projects being worked on at the same time.

Yeah more then likely after April. The clubs bought everything I had I'm guessing cause of the incoming crowds going to the Coachella music festival which starts this weekend. I love it as do the other growers in the area cause it's like X-Mas in April. I divert everything from all the gardens down here for the festival. This year is the first we sold out before it even started.

Gina is a hard hitter with good weight. 60/40 sativa/indo mix with a 11 week flowering time. You should see the girl I named it after.
Here is a 3 year old grow Journal from Harry. One of the strains he grew was my ManEater,

Hello all,
My postings have been very spotty, but I finished my autos:
These were Low Girl and Sweet Tooth. I timed my crop rotation poorly and was forced to take these a bit earlier than I would today, but I learned a lot.
I am now close to done with Crop #2. The Somangos are harvested, at nine weeks from the flip:
...and the AK-47 budsicles are finishing up:
An OG Heavy Crop is to follow, mothers grown and clones taken.
Take care,
JD

Ok, questions. What's up with the small bud size even on the AK's a strain I'm pretty familiar with.
2. You're using LED lights yet every one of those AK's has the edges of the leaves facing up which is a sign of heat stress.
I only point things out for people to look out for on their next crops cause it is obviously is going to hurt yield and I want everybody to do good. (It's my job )
and your ak should be better then this
This is some AK-48 (the Nirvana version) I grew in Feb of 2011.

Yeah, AK is a pretty heavy yielding strain. I was a little surprised with how small the bud size as well.
What kind of airflow do you have going on in there??

Well, the AKs were raised under an HPS 600w bulb.
The two Kessils were directed primarily at the two mothers for the clones that made up the SOG. It was only after I took the Somangos that I repositioned the LEDs.
I am sure that what you are referring to is heat due to my having the lights too close. I saw this happen early on and thought that I had backed it off far enough.
Like I said, this is crop #2, and I am happy to get pointers.
These plants got only a week of veg time. It was my intention to end up with smaller plants. (but I'd love optimal buds of course ;0)
I read your post, and was like "Wah?!" but then I realize that your standards are very high.
For my part, in my ignorance, I am really very pleased with my little budsicles.
Here is a fat one:
Where the other one is just one long tall bud:
I used 18" as my guide....to the bulb....I will rethink this, as I expect to start a new Crop in the next few weeks.
Thank you for taking the time.

I have a 6" inline fan that is taking air inside the tent through a carbon filter, through a ducted lamp, and out of the tent and man-cave.
Then I added ducting to force the tent to use a mothers area as an intake, adding a Whisperline 6" fan and one of the smaller Can Fans to drive air down this new duct and into the tent.
I am nowhere near using a sealed system and CO2 yet.
Take care,
JD

Hey Olive. The AK is just starting its cure, but I have tasted it.
It is extremely sticky and strong. The Somango edges it out on flavor so far, but this may change with time in the jars.
Those are some cool breeds jon. Lets see some Big Bud photos!
Take care,
