That's because I don't keep grow logs. Or take pictures of every grow. But they all tend to look like that since I mono crop. With tis next one I'll get ya some more pics to get you guys to stop complaining.

i mean to get rid of the 90 degree angle/ cut off the corners, make the ceiling into the shape of a reflector.
thats what i do with my mylar.

I just saw this. I myself used flat white paint. One of the reason I transferred all my grows to the tents is ease when it comes to hanging crap like lights and such. When there is a emergency location change the plants get put into the exact same room as they were in before. Then there is the way they improve environmental factors and make them easier to control.
One of the things improved is light. The sides of the tents (or at least the good ones) are made with a process that won't cause hot spots no matter what angle the light hits them. I broke out my meter (chy 332) and tested this myself. I found no hotspots and the claim of 1/3 more light getting to the plants tested true.

But wouldn't white still be a better reflector? I understand that the material in tents is better than mylar, and doesn't have the hot spot issues. I just don't understand why they don't make em white.

I can't remember where, but I saw some white ones recently.
I think they were marketed as the lower end of this brand's scale with the shiny stuff being at the higher end.

The ones with white in them suck. That is just the inside of a tent lined with mylar. The good tents even protect against thermal guns.
Here is what I put on Hawks post by accident.
When tested with a meter the flat white didn't come close. No matter what kind of light I used. I tested with 600, and 1000watt MH and HPS lights. To be honest the meter wasn't even needed it's that obvious. I'm with you the results were quite surprising esp after I'd been using flat white paint for the previous 22 years.
