you cant make up names like "Psilocybe Pandora"
-Psilosybe Pandora is our own variation of the Psilocybe Atlantis.
a variation cannot be a new specie! its most lickely P. galindoi and out of "8" types of stones they have they dont carry this one? the most common one on earth?
its a shame we need to have a vendor like this.

i guess they are not denying that they are a shity vendor who rips off unsuspecting noobs.
I am now hesitant to use any vendor from the shroomery/growery.
If they will accept one vendor like this ethics are simply not important to them

I've had nothing but great experiences from EVERY shroomery/growery sponsor. I don't know what you're going on about with this sponsor. But to judge all because of one is ridiculous.

I don't like this thread.

what do you mean? you don't understand?
they are using lies to sell re-named drugs.
Its not like changing a strain name. They are saying they have different species. not only does it undermine companies that actually put scientific work into mycology it also will give people false trip information and inaccurate dosage.
edit- yes i have emailed them. NO response...
and your right i should not judge all sponsors for one. But where does it start.
Are they choosing vendors that they feel are best for the community or just any ones that will give money.

I have personal used several venders from the shroomery and I have nothing but nice things to say. Most have fast shipping and reply to emails. Im not trying to judge you here, but maybe try nicely explaining your situation. Most people will not respond to criticism or hasty accusations. NOT saying that is what you said or how you acted. But I see no reason why any of the venders I have used would not respond to a friendly paying customer. They know most of there business comes from people on these sites, and there reputations are important.

None of my business grod but I think your position is totally legitimate. You did a good job of articulating why what these guys are doing is shady. The fact that the shroomery would allow someone like them to be a sponsor is definitely concerning. If this company isn't excluded by the policy you quoted above, then who else might not be? It isn't a condemnation on any other vendor..but on the precedent set by the shroomery. If other people cant see that then I don't know what to say. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. Or, as I like to say; you can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think

We have historically intervened in situations where vendors were not delivering on their stated obligations to customers, or where one vendor has held a copyright claim over another. However, marketing a finished product with a unique brand name is a little bit different, and it is up to the individual businesses involved to decide whether they wish to market via brand identity or whether they wish to take a scientific approach. Informed consumers will be able to tell the difference, and will ultimately vote with their purchases. The bottom line is that so long as MushMagic continues to satisfy their customers by delivering products that act as advertised (i.e. psychoactive mushroom sclerotia), it doesn't really matter what they call it. Kind of like Coca-Cola, Pepsi or the hundreds of generic knockoffs. Unlikely to be differentiated in blind tests, yet marketed with unique brand identity.

re branding would be more like calling a pit bull a Red nose in order to get more money.
What they are doing is selling you a rottweiler and saying its a pitbull.
and you are endorsing it.
maybe the person cant tell its a rottweiler but you(who ever excepts money from the sponsor) a trusted source told him its fine, go ahead get it.
I'm just saying when that person finds out they aren't going to take your advise anymore.
If you dont have people taking your advice, then you wont have followers.
if you dont have followers then you wont get anymore people who would want to pay to be a sponsor.
