Not necessary true.
Blueberry D I had great luck with hashberry, yields very well, and strong potency. If you go to their site, the write ups on their strains are usually very spot on. 81Ren, could most likely help you more, he use to stay very current on subjects such as this.

A connect of mine is an old school beach hippy whos been growing super silver haze for years and gets high yields. My green crack puts out pretty good and also starts resin production way sooner than my other strains.

Check out Sonic Seeds. BIG yielding sativa-dominate hybrids. Flower times on the longer end 10-14 weeks depending on strain..but the yields more than make up for it. Any of his pursang hybrids will do the trick!

Satori is a nice plant but not what I'd call a yielder.
There's lots of strains that yield pretty good...higher than average or whatever. If you want a true beast of a yielder you need to look at sativa dominant hybrids. Haze crosses do real well. Something with an elongated bud structure, that fills in big and goes long enough to really bulk up. To use Sonic as an example again...here's a pic of his Pursang selection at a couple weeks in
And a couple of a room of his kalishnapple.
This the type of strain to look for. Proven huge yielding 10-14 week hybrids. Okay, I'll stop saying the same things over and over now
Good luck!

I say gram/watt is not a good enough indicator of yield. IMO it's grams/watt --------------- Weeks or days of flower
If the veg time and conditions are the same... How reliable are the yield estimates of vendors anyway? They just say x grams per square foot indoor, but with how much light? Is there a worldwide standard of watt/sq ft I'm not aware of?

Not at all. I can't think of a single "breeder" I'd buy from who lists 'yield/square foot' in their description. Same goes for 'size'. Not giving an exact lineage is another thing that causes me to scroll past a "breeder"'s offerings.
I agree with you that you have to account for flower time. I tend to find that a good yielding 11-12 week strain will be do better--factoring in flower time--than a good yielding 8 week strain. Those beastly hybrids just pack on so much weight in the last couple weeks.

Yeah those last two pics are just ridiculous @_@
Also how come no one mentioned sweet 16 yet? It's what 9 weeks? Magash's sog pics make it debatable IMO
He got 2 lb per 1000watt light in 9 weeks (still not sure if its 8 or 9). So .1g/watt/week
Humor me how much grams/watt/week did the hybrids yield?

Those aren't my pics/grows. I believe they were well over 1.5 g/watt, so somewhere in that same area..
What's sweet 16?
I'm sure there are lots of different strains that, when dialed in, give massive yields. I was more just trying to give an idea of the type of strain that I've had/seen perform phenomenally.
That kalishnapple grow is pretty famous btw, you can see more pics at breedbay, icrag and probably a few other forums.

My Sweet 16 is also a hybrid strain. The strain is Sweet Tooth #3 and Mikado.
These were at 5.5 weeks with 3 more to go
Does well in a variety of situations

What's the creepy green logo in the middle of the top two photos. I've seen those pics, like, 22 million times and never noticed that before.

Wow! I can't believe you were able to grow them in solo cups that far without them getting root bound.

How does one go about getting seeds from that strain? (Sweet 16) I don't see it available to the public anywhere.
Also, Trichome Jungle claims to have Kalishnapple Kush, is it the same genetics as Sonic's or a re-branded strain with his pics up?

Some breeder was stealing my pics to describe his strains so I added the water mark for a while.

I think Mandala is just a great seed company in general. Their prices have gone up in recent years, but not to the crazy $15 a seed level...more like $3/seed, but they used to be $2/seed. I don't begrudge them that price increase though, their genetics are fun to work with, and produce GREAT smoke (I've smoked the Satori and the Kalichakra and was really, really happy with both).
