 Couple of questions about Green Dragon

I used the search function on the site and google, and I found a few threads on Green Dragon, but none of them really answered my questions.
So I have about 4 grams of high grade bud and about 5 grams of stems from the same bud soaking in a mason jar with 300ml of 80 proof vodka(I know I should have used a higher proof for better quality, but I had this sitting around). I put it in the way it was without baking, some slight moisture still in the buds.
Its been about 3 weeks now, and I am starting to see something slightly white in the bud after it sits. At first I thought mold could not grow in alcohol since its sterile, but I looked on Google and I found that it is possible for alcohol to grow mold. Has anyone had mold grow in there green dragon?
My other question has to due with evaporating for concentration. My original goal was to make a tincture. I read in some threads here on the growery that boiling down or evaporating green dragon also evaporates the THC. But I saw several youtube videos that advised evaporating for concentration. Anyone have experience or knowledge in this?

Well I wouldn't heat it. I would just let it sit out with a fan blowing over it to let it evaporate slowly down to whatever level you want.
Mold can grow in alcohol that's low concentration. But I've never seen it grow in something that high of a proof. Is the white stuff growing? Is the bud completely covered with alcohol or only slightly covered with some being exposed to air?

I cant tell if the white stuff is growing, but its swirling in the with the bud. There is about twice as much alcohol as there is bud so it is completely covered and when I shake the concoction it just turns green no sign of the white stuff, that only shows after it sits for a while.

Probably some sort of precipitate, I wouldn't worry about it, just filter the liquid.

i just add 35ml of everclear to every gram and hand break it into a jar and let sit in freezer for 2 months
|

i was reading around and saw that some people had really good results but i cant tell u exactly why lol im about to try and evap some of it and add vanilla and coffe extract and put it in a spray bottle and sublinguial at school

i did a double boiler heat reduction as per some recipe online. i used bacardi 151 and a half ounce of buds. i didn't care for it. seemed like it only had a profound effect with the whole ml from my dropper.

You should be fine mold shouldn't be growing in vodka, but ya if you want to turn regular green dragon I to a tincture just double boil it down.

so ima just drop a towel into my crock pot and add some water and get it down to tincture strength. do u loose any wen evaping
