So, I'd like to start something indoors. My space available is fairly limited, and have never attempted a grow op b4.. I don't want anything super huge, but enough for myself..
I've found a TON of useful information here, but I have question.. Is it possible to grow w/ just plant lights.. I know each stage requires different light, but would it ruin a grow to not switch it?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't ask any1 IRL..any additional info would be super Help a sister out fellas!

Welcome, and yes you can. CFL put off more heat per watt than HID lamps. Can you buy a HPS bulb and ballast?
Or you can find reasonable deals that come with a MH and a HPS bulb with ballast and reflector for like 100 dollars.
You could just use a a regular bulb or 2(Blue in color) until they got to the point where you need the HPS which you could get for 70 dollars roughly.
Soil and nutrients, AND pH are probably as important, if not equally important.
As you come up with different questions post them here.
I did this, BUT PLEASE ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW ABOUT ELECTRICITY OR YOU'LL BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN OR ELECTROCUTE YOURSELF!@!!!
I did that from a normal outside floodlight and converted it indoor. I can explain how, but don't try if you have no knowledge of electricity.

I have numerous aquarium light fixtures would any of those work if I got the correct bulbs? Space is limited,my mom said I can do it there, but still... I just can't have anything that's going to make our electric bill jump through the roof..
I'm experienced w/ house plants so the soil/ nutrients should be easier for me to comprehend.
I guess, I just want to dab my hands @ growing the plant I <3.. I don't expect my 1st grow to be to great, but idt I couldve joined a better community for help.
Btw thanks 4 the reply.
