I think 81 rens point is there a huge difference between a plant that is naturally hermaphroditic, and one that is stressed into producing male flowers. Yes, you can make any female put out some male flowers and self pollinate to produce feminized seed, but that plant is NOT a "true" hermaphrodite. Any breeder worth his salt, and any cultivar with a sliver of brain in their skulls, will cull natural hermies at the first sighting.
Personally I'm not a believer in growing self pollinated seeds from my own grows. I'd just rather not risk the chance of wasting a month of two of time on something that has the potential to destroy my entire crop with seeds. Fuck it, just not worth it IMO, pick out the seeds and toss em you're better off. I know you can do it, but the risk is just not worth the reward for me especially if I have stable genetics to work with anyways.

Cs! omg stoneth you have to be my hero today for quoting that. I just finished reading about 4hours worth of info. I'm seriously laughing at the simplicity of the tek! That has to be a better story than what's his face who dropped a rotten sanga in the early 1900's in his petri dish making way for penicillin and saving mankind! Sorry OP but you don't understand how excited i am.

Just wondering why I have to let the seeds sit for 3 weeks? Will they not grow if I plant them now?
