Two of my feminized seeds are full on males, we're not sure what's gone on. I got them from attitude so it could be something to do with them but serious have offered to replace them anyway,,  .
It's puts a bit of a question mark over what strain i have exactly right now.

Would you say this looks well fed, not over fed but on the high side ? I've dropped my nutes to a low 1.4EC, the run off's 1.1 and i still think that might be too high. Well it was 1.2 yesterday so i'll try and keep it at 1.1 for a bit and see how it does.
It seems so low, i never get anywhere near 1.8/2.0's i read about.

I'm not surprised at all man, and you may still be a bit high.
But the plants look good as far as I can tell.
I tend to run my ec anywhere from 0.6 to 1.3.
I've only had one strain go higher up to 1.75.

Thanks, that's what i wanted to hear. It fucks with your head when the guide's saying more but your experience is so much different, it casts a shadow over your decision making. I was really wondering how low i could take it.

Hey a lot of guides forget not all plants are created equal.
Some eat very little where others don't know when to quit.
The trick is to find just the right level and give the plant just what it needs.

Some plants might hack their light feeding schedule but i've yet to find one. I don't know wtf their medium/heavy schedule's for.
I've had problems nearly every time, just this is the lowest EC i've ever had coming out the bottom.
I made a log here last grow and it's totally changed my approach because i can see exactly where it starts, i'm determined to stop it going down that path again.
Everyone should make a grow log, even if you just do it in private.

I think this is AK anyway. I found an old pic i think's from my last AK grow and my 2nd plant matches up well, the one i'm logging has enough in common with the 2nd to make me think it's a different pheno.
It was a bit gangly, you can see
My 2nd plant's smaller probably because i started it earlier, i was going for 4 smaller plants before the males. It's the same gangly thing going on.
  
Nice sativa leaves,
The one i'm logging took to the LST style much better, nice petite leaves but they're still sativa'ish. It's shorter but there's more growth. That thing's a wide as the door.
   
I chopped the males back, i was going to try and get some pollen. I over did one plant and ditched it, the other got to go on a bit longer but the buds are falling off. I don't want it in the cab even with the glass thing.

My run off EC's changed all of a sudden, it's gone from 0.9 to 1.5 in a week and some deficiencies are showing. It's not absorbing nutes anymore but the PH is spot on 6 and she's still drinking a lot so i guess it's time to flush ?
I usually have this earlier where i start needing to flush it down, the run off starts being higher than what i'm putting in. I always thought it was because of a build up but i think now it's the plant telling me it's requirements have changed so i should be dropping my nutes in future rather than trying to flush it out. Good to know,, .
She's on day 49 now. This grow's flown.

Hey, so did you cut the tops at all or just train them?
Looks like you were able to obtain that many tops with out cutting.

Hi, thanks ! She was topped 10 days into flowering. The main stem gets too strong for the sticks if i don't top it, it's hard to keep the canopy level. They level out beautifully if you take the main tip off.
There's always a surplus of tops if you keep tying the side shoots down. The side shoots can't grow out fast enough to make space for all the tertiary shoots. I usually have to take some out when they're on top of each other.

Very cool, thanks for letting me know.
I'm always afraid to top during flowering, but I need to just get over it. Its amazing how much good can come from doing stuff that looks like it would just kill any other plant.
So is this 12/12 from seed, if not on what day did you switch to flowering?

I vegged for 18 days. I go until the first side shoots are long enough to take strings then let the plant burst out of that. Train through the first few weeks of flowering then fingers crossed for the late stretch, different strains are different. If i was growing an Indica i'd veg it a lot longer, this doesn't work well with low stretch stains unless you want a really short plant.
You can train the shit out of your plants before they start budding. Anything goes really, i've only had one hermie in 4 years and that was due to the cold i think.
A lot of things fell right for the AK. It's invaded the space of the other one. I had to train one of them wide to make up space after finding the males. The second plant had it's corner trained out at the last minute. It exists at the edge of the cab, it's gonna make some nice canna butter.
  
It would have had big fluffy buds if it was a full plant under the light. It stretched for longer so it's a bit behind. It's a bit over fed on the same nutes as the other as well, i've fixed it now.
The color change on the dashes in the log signifies veg/flowering times and i underlined the days that have any content to make it easier to read, i should probably mention it somewhere.
