why do businesses use ups?
    #647222 - 11/21/12 06:27 AM (11 years, 11 months ago)

For fuck sakes, its more expensive for the customer and about a quarter the speed of the post office.

I've been waiting on a pair of headphones for over a week. They're about 30 minutes away from me, but the scheduled delivery isn't until Friday and these fucks never deliver early.

So wtf is the deal here? Why do places insist on using ups? It's so much more frustrating for me. The only time ups and FedEx are worth my time is the 2 day delivery. This standard service is complete shit.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

That is because you live in the middle of nowhere. The problems you are describing isn't happening in the city.

And if they are 30 minutes away, why did you UPS them?

No, it was the company replacing my headphones. They're states away, but the local sorting station for ups is 30 minutes drive.

Then go pick them up.

It would waste the company money if you're the only guy in our area who needs something delivered. That's another reason they're not going to do a special delivery for your headphones. In my old neighborhood, UPS was on our streets at least every day, some days all day.

It's easier to link up a business account. Plus it's more acceptable. It just is. If a business uses USPS i consider it a little amateur.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.
