I will personally vote no on amendment 64. I am very torn on the subject but ultimately it's a badly worded amendment that has no place in a state constitution. The fact that they've included all of the stipulations inside of an untouchable amendment to the state constitution is ridiculous. I would love to see it legal but this isn't any of that. Currently in Colorado, 2 oz or less is a $100 citation (no offense for MMJ) Amendment 64 would make possession of anything more than 1 oz a felony (except for MMJ) It would seal this and small plant counts into the constitution. LEO is all for it too, I doubt they're on my side.

Until the Feds change their attitude towards Medical, and we have well over half the states with Medical. THEN lets start tackling the issue of legalization.
It's my understanding that 2/3 of the states can vote to ratify the constitution. I've always figured the only way we can change the federal law is to ratify the constitution with a 2/3 vote. It's a convenient dream.
