Hi All,
Im new to the forum, and pharming in general. Not new to the business, just the grow side of it.
what i gots:
Rooms:
one flower room ~ 175 ft2 (~9x18)
one veg room ~ 200 ft2 (~9x22)
Lighting:
flower-(6) 1kw HPS horizontal hoods
veg- (2) 400w 48" T5 8 bulb, (4) 1kw horizontal hoods
Cooling:
24,000 BTU Mini Split
5,000 BTU Window Unit (supplemental)
closed lighting air circulation
2 Ton Building Unit
Medium & Setup:
Flower- 6 bin, 1 epicenter UnderCurrent (home made)-rockwool in netpots
Veg- (2) 2x4 trays, (1) 4x8 tray-Mothers in Coco, clones in rockwool
Strains: Im only flowering Blue Dream at the moment.

So at the moment i am finishing up my most recent run, we'll see how that goes (ill post some porno for you guys at the end of this). This journal is in preparation for my next run, as it will be the first one i will be doing entirely solo and will use this as my calander/journal.
    
Now that you all know what im working with and where im at.... Heres whats going on.
got the moms and upcoming moms in veg with one of the T5's at half power. just hacked the blue dream mama so she looks alittle retarded.
at the time i was planning on running half blue dream half diablo og, but decided to go all bd, so ive got the bd's that i cut before i decided to do all bd transplanted and it seems their happy in their new home.
and i got more bd's and diablo's on the way
planning on throwing everything under thousands for like a week before putting everything into place in the flower room. whats nice is ive got 4kw in my veg room so i can do this while finishing flower in the other room.
thats all for now folks! ill post more as i pass memorable points, or just need to record something so my stoned ass doesnt forget.
ps like i said im new here so feedback would be cool or just drop in and say high!

as of yesterday (10/7) 2 of the diablo's have rooted which is great because that means we get to test Diablo OG in the undercurrent!
although even if more end up rooting i wont run them, ill just hold them as mama's. however i am absolutely tickled to see how these diablos perform. as of now i am anticipating close to a half pound per plant in the undercurrent with the blue dreams, however the Diablo's being OG and having the typical OG growth pattern of little dense golf balls but no collas. will they grow collas in the undercurrent?????? if so its gonna be crazzyyy!
ill post the eye candy tomorrow. letting camera charge.

Very handsome looking plants(for girls anyway)! How do you feel about the large rockwool cubes? I guess I have seen plenty of pictures that are proof enough they work. I ask because my seedlings struggle to break through a 1" cube (which I actually cut in half and set in hydroton) so I wonder about root development in the large cubes. I've wanted to try the method you're using but it scares me. Do you have problems with plants tipping over? I see a lot of strings in your pictures.

Goom,
im rooting in an aero cloner, buying the circular rooting plugs from grodan (they are like the 1" blocks but cylindrical and have a slice down the side) and just setting the clones in the rooting plug then the 6"blocks so im no help there, however i will try and take a picture of my rootmass in the system, its INCREDIBLE. as for the plants falling over no. individual branches breaking.... yessss even the little ones on the bottom!! but i dont really consider that a problem  . as i tie up the branches, i even out the way the main stem is so it kinda works out i suppose.
as for u running it: when i was running the shop with my old partner we never exceeded .5g/watt and that was in coco with trays and smart pots. with this UC system its looking like we are easily gonna do 1g/watt. it uses significantly less nutes than an ebb and flow or any other automated drain to waist systems im familiar with (with the exception of SOME nft's) it reduces your plant count significantly (2 plants per light is what im running) which means easier to get into flower (less clones needed, medium, space to veg) pest control etc and of course should the DEA ever show up on ur doorstep the lower plant count should help! im in cali where everythings pretty much ok until you hit 99 plants then feds get angry so getting below that 99 is a big deal for commercial pharmers such as myself.
Harvesting the Blue Dreams in 2 days!
i will take a pic of the empty system and am also expanding it to include 2 more lights and 2 more plant housings, so i will go ahead and do a little instructional for you guys since its the same thing just repeated per plant housing.
hoping for 4.5lbs from the 4 lights over them right now! 
also was so excited that the diablo rooted.... forgot to plug sprayer pump back in and they died! epic fail. i know. stupid.
