Borneo Red vein has still been my go-to since I bought a gigantic sampler pack. I haven't had kratom for ~3 months now, but in my last time trying which I had abstained for a month prior, there were such minor effects with even 30g of the stuff. Anyone else have some weird permanent tolerance type issues or is this slightly bizarre? I had been using it on and off for maybe 5 years so inevitably there IS tolerance but never did I use it erryday.
Also I might never do it again because I've just been sick on it so many times that the very thought of it gives me impenetrable nausea lol. I couldn't have it unless I downed two gravols half an hour before. Also food absolutely killed it and would almost always come up so kratom day was always a fasting IME.

I can back that up, however satisfying the previous evening is, and however sleepy, it doesn't feel so hot the next day.
I was once pretty excited because I thought I found out something revolutionary-- if you have a glass of Metamucil you can pour your kratom powder in it and chug it down with no taste, as the gelatinous metamucil wraps itself around the granules. However this has gone wrong too many times, and if you don't have it down to a science you'll end up with kratom dough (which just brings me back to Peruvian Torch powder dough balls... ugh). It is the most vile thing a most eager kratom connoisseur will ever attempt to consume, believe me (and so I did... but it ended up being the sickest I'd ever been on the leaf )
Cheers, and stick with what method works best lul

Sham87 said: I've been using kratom for 4 days now, feels great being back on it. Been using capsules now instead of TnW and I can say that I like the slower onset.
Am also dosing lower than I used to... all I can say is that I miss the high dose awesomeness.
The slow onset is nice, it gives you a chance to get giddy with anticipation for an extended period because of anticipating the peak. Quite fun. Nothing worse than ~the sickness~
Part of me wants to order some kratom but the postal service is on strike here, no bueno. My stomach also says hell no (but my brain would beg to differ).
Also IDK if it's just me but kratom + weed isn't always kosher, it depends how high a dose of each you're aiming for though. Sometimes I'm too high to realize I'm nauseous and that negative physical sensation manifests as something else.

Only tried green vein Maeng-da sadly, that sounds pretty nice. And from a decent place.
I'm sticking with the locals in my province but they've always been good to me, and their BRV has always satisfied so I haven't really branched out. There's a lot more vendors down south than up in Canada though, it's just more practical for me to stick with em.
Pay-day is tomorrow, we'll see what happens...!
