Very Sick
    #638941 - 10/01/12 03:04 AM (12 years, 2 months ago)

My plant is extremely sick. Any advice would be appreciated
Soil Growers:
1. Are you growing from seed or clones?        Seed
2. How old are your plants?                    2 months
3. How tall are your plants?                  About 35 - 40cm
4. What size containers are they planted in?  I don't know its big enough at this point though
5. What is your soil mix? 50/50 perlite and potting soil, with worm castings
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use? About once every three days
7. What is the pH of your water? Water is slightly acidic, 6.9
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? Hasn't shown sign of deficiency thus far so i have only used a bit of seaweed when the leaves start to go light green
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 600w MH for veg
11. How close are your lights to the plants? About 40cm
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 5 square feet approx.
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? room temp 23 - 25C, humidity is 45 to 50%
14. What is the pH of the soil? nuetral 7.0
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? there are a few little bugs that hover around, but they dont seem to sit in or around my plants i think they like the water, noticed aphids a month or so ago and gave them a spray, they have not returned
16. How much experience do you have growing? Cannabis: The disregarded bad advice from amateur growers i know, and things i have read here, no practical experience.
other plants, i have grown i have a capsicum plant and strawberries which enjoy similar conditions to cannabis

You have a generalized nutrient deficiency.....They probably just need a bit of food.

Why are you cutting your fan leaves?

Okay i gave it a hit of a little of everything I had, a bit of seaweed, super thrive and aquasol. We will see how she goes over the next few days, the really bad leaf with the yellowing and brown spos has not progressed

I trimmed back a couple of fan leaves to give lower branches more light and room for me to train them outward. I late learned that this is not a good idea.

Yeah, if you want the lower branches to grow more you either top or LST.
