I just recently bought the Killing Floor bundle (the game plus 7 years worth of character packs) on Steam for $30,(just the game is $20) and have been playing the fuck out of it. If you don't know what Killing Floor is, it's a Co-op Survival Horror FPS. It's sort of like Left 4 Dead and Nazi Zombies on Call of Duty, but the zombies are military cloning experiments that are a hell of a lot more crazy, none of this half-retarded unarmed zombie nonsense.
Before I potentially bore you with screenshots and text, here's some gameplay:
I find it more interesting than any of the other similar games I've played because you can choose different classes (Medic, Commando, Sharpshooter, Support Specialist, Demolition Expert, Pyro). It really emphasizes teamwork and you can weld doors (and un-weld them if you want to) to temporarily hold off the horde from flooding in, also you're forced to change locations as the shop is moved throughout the map each wave. In this game, if you don't have a plan, you are most likely going to die.
Here are some screenshots on some of what you can expect to see in the game. Yes, you can SEE bits of brain get shot out of their goddamn skulls, sometimes even in slow motion when you get lots of headshots. This guy is the Fleshpound, shooting him with weak weapons or taking too long to finish him off just makes him angry and activates the adrenaline pump in his chest which makes him move master and deal even more damage
These guys are crawlers, they're the sneaky fucks of the game, they're mutants made with arachnid DNA. They're known for climbing through windows, jumping through holes in the ceilings, and crawling out of just about every open space that you might overlook or not expect them to come from, and they leap at you from like 15 feet away. It's awesome to watch their limbs get shot off as they fly through the air lunging at your face.
This is the motherfucking Patriarch, the final boss of the game, he appears after the last of the waves each game. He's equipped with a minigun, rocket launcher, a cloaking system and three single use healing syringes. He's also the fastest runner in the game, he uses his speed and cloak to run and get a chance to heal, or to retaliate against specific players. This guy fucks. shit. up. The poor dumb bastard in this screenshot is seconds away from being killed.
