Best time to Clone+Cloning Tips?

Okay I know you should wait for at least one node, but does the chance of successful cloning increase if you let the branch grow?
Also what are some cheap easy alternatives for rock wool cubes?
How necessary is rooting hormone?
Humidity should be 90%? or is this a myth?
And I'm assuming the more you clone the better the buds will be (assuming the plant diverts it's energy towards the buds instead of growing longer branches.
Thanks in advance, remember this is not ADVICE these are QUESTIONS i don't want to misguide anybody.

Also what are some cheap easy alternatives for rock wool cubes? Peat Pellets. Although Rockwool is pretty damn cheap man.
How necessary is rooting hormone? Not completely necessary but helps a ton
Humidity should be 90%? or is this a myth? Not a myth. You do need a humidity dome.
And I'm assuming the more you clone the better the buds will be (assuming the plant diverts it's energy towards the buds instead of growing longer branches. Not true at all
Thanks in advance, remember this is not ADVICE these are QUESTIONS i don't want to misguide anybody.

I disagree with this. I myself haven't used a humidity dome in years.

Don't you dare contradict me
I find that they're perkier when using a humidity dome. Plus my plugs end up not drying out as fast.

Add air stone, and a small circulation pump, then throw dome in the trash. Or stick with what works for you, that's what I do.
