I heard that manure's just good for topping the plant off like 1/4 of the top but I know nothing so do NOT quote me lol

Of course you can't use straight manure. Or close to straight manure.

I think the best would be if you could compost that shit for a while. Or a little as a top dressing sounds good, not sure how much to put on though...

I got lucky for the most part, thanks for the tips about flushing too,
fried roots = the small leaves near the bottom turn yellow and curl?
i think they did fry trial and error i guess right?

Manure is not compost. Compost is a combination of different elements that have been aged and digested by bacteria and worms. This allows the minerals to become available, and then you mix it into soil. Not use it straight as a growing medium.
Manure is cow or horse shit.

haah yeahhh i knew that about manure, I just associated it with compost (shrug)
now that it's been sitting there for awhile has it composted?
If you were to take rock wool cube clones then transfer them to a container, but didn't have enough money to purchase high grade fertilizers what kind of mixture would you do?
3/4 Foxfarms potting soil 1/16 Bonemeal 1/16 Composted manure 1/8 Manure topping?
putting the soil in first then topping it with all the other shit?

You would mix in the additive to the soil.
