ya for real. LEDs may be cool, but its more economical to just run T5s to veg and then an HPS to flower. thats what im doing on my current grow.

no need for the attitude. i'm just trying to help you out. like i said, T5s are more economical.
until LED grow light technology actually makes some big jumps, T5s are probably your best bet to veg plants. not many people use LEDs because they arent that good compared to the cheaper, tried and true, T5s.

i ran across this recently. i too was thinking about saving up for an LED light for the same reasons, but i just dont think its worth the money right now. maybe in 5 or 10 years the technology will be perfected and LEDs will be "THE" way to grow. its bound to happen sooner or later.
