 There goes CNN again reporting solar storms

It seems they report on this every few months. So will the solar maximum really
be that bad this time around? What happened in the 1800's is sure to happen again
but is this indeed the time period?

There's certainly potential for it. There's going to be a real test to see how able we are to live without our interconnected technology for however long. I know I'll be fine  in fact I'd be kind of excited for everyone to just take a break from all the conveniences and to re-appreciate what we have taken for granted. I mean a lot of shit will go awry because of it, but it's certainly an eye opener if it does happen.

Agreed. Im ready mentally for what could happen but if our power were to get
knocked out for months or years I cannot say Im prepared. Living the paycheck to
paycheck life does not allow to much room for preparing for such an event.

Oh Im not fearful at all. But its good to be aware and especially when it comes
to something like as we would really have to come together and help each other
out because if we dont it will be pure chaos. Even tho I am not fearful should not
suggest I do not want to live through the worst of such an event especially if it
can be avoided.
Not communicating with each other and yawning at the possibility's and likelihoods
of our/your future is extremely counter productive.
