Thank goodness I'm not there.
-------------------- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

No. It's merely a state of mind.

Good idea. I'm currently sick as all hell, due to fishing in the rain yesterday. It was a great day.

Yeah a warning ticket for not having my fishing license on my person. First time I've ever forgotten my license at home.

lol, that sucks. At least it was just a warning. That's a hefty ticket around here. Like 500-1000$ I think.
I should really go get mine. It's a matter of time before I get asked for it

Yeah it's a big ticket, but I've had my life time license for many years. He laughed when I told him I had the boat registration and my ID, but we'll both shit out of luck on my license because they weren't in my pocket. He was a cool cat about the whole deal, and new on his job.

My boredom comes in phases, generally I'll feel my mind sort of closed off, in a sort of semi-depressive episode. Depression seems to dampen the mind to details, some that can only be really seen when the mind is open and positive. When we look at something when depressed, we see only the negative side of it, and it might feel boring to see the same negativity in it all. So a shift in focus is needed. Start to pry your mind, and remind yourself of the more positive details; reassure yourself they are there, even if at the time, they feel invisible. You will start to realize that you are the only thing holding yourself back from seeing those positive things. And your mind will curve to finally start recovering from the depressive state, as long as you encourage it every step of the way. People seem to not want to be happy, or at least they are lazy, by not telling themselves it is possible.
Jesus idk where that rant came from. This must be some good weed.
