I need some help from the CFL growers. I can ask locally for advice but most of the growers in SA use HID bulbs and mostly frown upon CFL.
I wanna build a cab with the following dimensions.
700H x 500W x 400D.
I am planning on using 10 x 20W warm whites. Will that be good light for that size cab. I'm planning using it as a flower box and also gonna add a screen in there for SCROG. I have another smaller veg cab in which I will germ and take cuttings. Some veging might happen the cab as well. The lights will be lowered to the where the seedlings are.
But all I need to know is that will that be enough light???
Well I'm not sure on the spectrum you are putting out with those CFL's. Just make sure that you get ones that are putting out color spectrum in the 2700k range. And yes that sounds like it will be enough light.
-------------------- Dude she isn't as young as she use to be.
Yeah bro. Those warm whites are in the 2700k range.
I saw another grow a while back on another forum where the giy took 3x23W and 2x45W cfl's and did a SCROG with the same dimensions as the cab I am planning on building. He took of 63g dry. I was pleasantly surprised so I wanna try it as well. The dimensions of the cab MIGHT change on the day of building. Still trying to figure out a few things. This will be my 1st SCROG and I am looking VERY forward to this.
