Yea, that's why I'm trying to figure out how to get some to my sister. She's in a college town in Oklahoma. Non medical states always have high prices! Lol
Such is the problem of growing in a medical state. Its the price you pay for comparative safety, I suppose. Lol

Hey guys! Time for an update... sorry its been so long. This weekend has been so busy. Saturday morning my wife's water broke, and so I've been sitting in the hospital since. Labor's going really long. We're at about 50 hours now, and things are looging fine. No signs of infection, no stress on the baby ye. She's just taking FOREVER to get completely effaced and dialated.
So, here's some pictures of our other girls!
This is the tray of clones we cut last week on Tuesday. I'm REALLY hoping they'll be okay, because I haven't been able to really check em for 2 days now. These girls are all Tragic Winter clones.
And here's a few shots of the other 4 girls in the flower room. Man, I just hope I can get home before they start wilting. I've got my dad at home turning the lights on and off, but he's just too old a fogie to mix up nutes for me and get thigs watered.
So, that's what I've got guys. Its kind of a small update, but I've been pretty busy with everything else the past couple days. Haha!!

Man I hope there's someone you can trust to go and check on em. You really don't want the clones to dry out.

Yea, I hope so too. When I left on Saturday, they were pretty well soaked still, so I'm hoping they'll be okay. My dad was at the house flipping the lights for me, and he was supposed to check on them this morning. I guess I'll find out when I get home if he remembered... lol

Yea, me too man. I'll be really frustrated if I come home to a second batch of fucked off clones. The whole reason we're flowering the afgooey clones we had is because when I got laid off about a month ago, I forgot to check on them for 4 days straight. They all got hella stunted and they still haven't recovered. Lol

So, I'm having problems with heat... we've got a total of 5kw now, 4 HPS in flower and 1 MH in veg going 24/7. The lights are on from 9pm to 9am, but its still getting too hot in there. Last night it was getting up into the high eighties and low nineties.
I'm gonna try running a tube of outside air through the veg room and into the flower room.unfortunately, the back wall of the veg room is the only place I feel comfortable putting holes in, since its facing the back of my property.

Wait, do you not have fresh air intake already? What's the CFM rating for your fan and how many feet of ducting is it pulling through?

I've had passive intake the whole time, its not 100% sealed up around the edges, so fresh air would come in under the walls from outside. But, when I lit up the 1k in the veg room (I had the 4' T-8 light in there before), it just made the whole place too hot.
I've got a 6" inline fan with a 425 CFM rating blowing hot air out. I don't have it hooked up to the carbon scrubber yet because the smell is still pretty faint. I also added a 125 CFM inline booster fan that's attached to one of the hoods, to pull fresh air in from the intake hole.
Its pretty ghetto at the moment, but last night the temps didn't get above 81. As for the length of tubing, there's 8' across the veg room, 9' from the barrier to the end of the last hood. 3.5' between the two rows, and another 7' from the end of the row to the front where the last hood vents into the room. So I would call it 28' of tubing, total, with 3 ~25° curves, and 2 90° curves.
I'll add some pictures soon...
And here's the pics!
On the end of the far hood you can see the booster fan attached to the hood.
Here's a shot of the veg room with the tube going across it.
This is my little 1'x3' flood table SOG. They're doing pretty well, considering everything they went through...
And this is just a random shot of the girls in flower.

Dude, you're rocking almost 2,000 cubic feet of growroom there. Two Thousand. a 425 CFM fan isn't going to cut it at ALL.

Yea, you're very right, Harry. My ventilation is woefully inadequate... But I just don't have a larger fan to use at the moment, and I'm broker than broke...
I'm going to appeal to our partner for more equipment, but that's like pulling teeth from a vampire, so I doubt it'll go anywhere... he'll probably give me a couple of floor fans or some oscillators that he's already got, but he probably won't fork out for a good fan...
On top of THAT, we're running out of three of our nutes, and that's gonna be another $45 each to replace those... Oh, and did I mention my dad broke his $80 bluelab temp/ph meter when he was watching the plants for me?
I'm hoping he'll have enough product to just do a bridge loan until harvest, and we pay him back 1.25x what he put out for it... IF he'll give us a qp, I'll give him 5 when we harvest out of my portion. That seems fair to me at least...

So... going through the girls tonight, I found some nanners on the Tragic Winter girl... out she came and into the closet for 2 days of light depravation.
Then I called my partner to let him know that the girl's comin' out early, and guess what he said?? "OH, go ahead and leave her in there! She won't give the other girls seeds!"
Really man?!?!?!

Gah, I'm so fucking pissed at my partner right now. I've been trimming this damn plant off and on all day, and I just keep getting more and more frustrated at it as I find seed after seed in her...
As soon as this cycle of his genetics are through my system, I'm never touching his plants again! I just put 2 of my Master Kush seeds into a wet paper towel, and we're gonna see how quick I can get a batch of clones off em...

So, I've decided I need to do some remodeling in the grow room to account for the need for air conditioning. My landlord won't let me permanently modify the existing structures (everything has been installed with screws so he can take it down), so I have to do a little bit of MacGuyvering to make things work...
My dad gave me two AC units so I'm going to get them installed right away to work on my heat problems...
I'm going to scoot my girls to the far end of the flower room and put up a wall to make the flower room a bit smaller, 10x10 instead of 10x16. Having a small room in between the veg room and the flower room will give me space to keep spare equipment, the chest freezer chiller and the rez's out of the way of the plants. I'll also be able to vent the larger of the two AC units into this space, and vent the heat from that room out the side (I can just remove the temporary board I put up as a wall, and that'll let things vent outside).
The second, smaller AC unit will go in the veg room. There's a window hole in the wall that I just covered up with plywood. I can simply cut out a hole, stick it in and seal it up. I'll have that done by the end of the day tomorrow. I'll try and remember to snap some before and after pics to post for ya...
I still have to get the condenser coil from my dad so I can make the DIY chiller. My aunt and uncle went to their shed to try and find it for me (it's a 4 hour drive and they were going that way anyways), but all they could find was a small coil of 3/8" copper tubing. No where near enough for my 50 gallon rez. It might work for the small 1'x3' flood table I have though, so I'm keeping it. That little thing only has a 5 gallon rez, so I figure it wouldn't be as tough to keep cool as a 50 gallon one...
