**ALL IS INFORMATIVE INFORMATION FOR LEGAL QUALIFIED MEDICINAL GROWERS**
Started from seeds with viable seeds received from local medicinal grower. 1. Skywalker: Mazar x Blueberry
2. Grape Mammoth: 4-way cross, G13 Haze x Big Bud x Purple Kush x Grape Ape
3. OG Kush:
After germination 13 of the germinated seeds were planted.
1/29 -Seeds placed in moist paper towel to germinate
1/31 -Closest setup complete. -5 mil Poly with tarp zipper for easy access. -inside lined with black poly to protect walls and covered with 1mil mylar -Light: Vegetative Stage will employ Hydrofarm T5 High Output Florescent lighting 6400k. 4 2ft Blulbs with a total of 8000 lumens. After talking with many growers the T5 floro is excellent for veg. It's low temps allow you to place them within 1-2 inches of plant allowing nice stocky, bushy plants to develop!
2/2 13 Germinated seeds planted with Roots Organic Soil 6 Skywalker 6 Grape Mammoth 1 OG Kush
2/4 All but 1 have popped! Removed one of the Skywalkers.
2/5
2/6
2/8 Switched from 24/0 to 18/6 today for the remainder of veg
2/9 I'm going to keep an eye on this looking a little sick
2/12 All these little bitches (hopefully bitches) are looking super nice! I think the camera flash made them appear a little yellowish but they're nice and bright green in person.
The bottom 3 are Skywalker, little pot is OG and the top 3 are Grape Mammoth
Sick looking one of grape mammoth, other 2 are Skywalkers
The Grape Mammoth are a bit slower to grow
One of the nice looking ones!
Favorite girl so far
Anyone have any idea what to do about this one, might have to pull her out.
Will post plenty more pictures to come!
A few more notes... -No nutrients for first 30 days -Temperatures avg. 76 F at 40-50% Rh -Plan is to grow all 12 remaining plants until sexing, then discard of the males/weakest looking females. -Will flower remove from closet and flower in this area after vegging. This desk and TV will be removed and the area will be prepared with mylar and black/white poly (6'x3'x8'). Will flower (hopefully) 6 plants under a 1000wat HPS.
CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES AND ANY QUESTIONS, FEEDBACK, COMMENTS, TIPS, ADVICE IS DEFINITELY APPRECIATED!

2/14 They grow up so fast!
Skywalkers and OG Kush in the smaller pot
Some Grape Mammoths, little slower to grow than the Skywalkers
More Grapes..
The OG Kush showing its indica characteristics of being super short and stocky the main stem is no more than 2 inches compared to 4-5 on the other strains
And finally a few more Skywalkers..
It's crazy how much they have grown in size in just two days!!! I am thinking about going over to lowes to grab a few 100watt 5000k CFL's, they each put out 1600 lumens so together it would add almost another 7000 lumens, plus the 8000 from the T5's giving me 15000 lumens for the rest of veg...think I just might need to do that seeing how adding the additional cfls will only cost about 40$..any thoughts on that? Posting them up on the sides to get light to more of the leaves as they continue to grow.

nevermind did some research on my own I'm guessing you mean they look like they came from a hermi plant and after talking to the grower I got them from he confirmed that, I know they have a slightly less chance of being females (all other things constant).. I like the way the Skywalkers are coming anyways they are growing much faster and I will eventually take the 6 best looking females to the flowering room. Hopefully thats all 5 Skywalkers and the OG Kush it wouldn't bother me ditching the GM's.

NEW UPDATE!
2/15
I decided to add the extra lights, you can never have enough light and your plants will love the extra light!
For under 35$ I purchased: 4- 150watt Work Lamps with Reflectors @ 6$ each 4- GE 6500k 100 Watt (26 Watt) CFL's 1625 lumens each @ 5$ each
Adding an additional 6500 lumens, plus the 8000 lumens from the Hydrofarm T5 giving me a total of 14,500 lumens!
You can see the 4 work lamps clip perfectly around the plants!
2/16
Some more picture updates everyone is coming along nicely, soils looking a little thirsty might give em a drink later

So last night I got really tired of my grow space looking messy, so I decided to rip it all down and rebuilt it lol. My ocd was killing me and I wanted it to look nice and presentable, maybe even make the plans feel a little classier too haha
choose to hang the added cfls the worklamps were too bulky
I used my own little tek I made about easily hanging mylar check it out here if you want, pretty much they're just mylar sheet glued to poster boards makes them easier to hang and also reusable. Not to mention gets rid of that crinkly noise loose mylar makes drives me nuts.
2/19
Going into day 19 of Veg they are looking beautiful!
Now I don't know if this is necessarily something to even worry about but theres only that one spot on one leave

I also wanted to get some peoples opinions on if I should attempt to do some hst/lst at this stage? Maybe fim or top em, is it too early for that? Maybe even just start tying them along edges of the pot and just do the safer lst. Any thoughts/opinions?

I prefer lst myself. I've found many strains don't like being topped, or supercropped,.

2/20
So Figure'd I'd get on the ground and get some shots of different angles today to show the node developments.
I have to transplant 6 out of the 12 to 3 gallon pots sometime this week. So any suggestions on which I should keep around (still too early to sex unfortunately ) so I'm just going to keep the healthiest looking/largest ones.
I figure once I sex if I end up having to pull out a few males I'll transplant them into 10 gallon pots to utilize the space and to hopefully compensate the yield by replacing lost plants with larger ones, is this a pretty good idea?
now for the pics
OH yeah so what to do with the ones who didn't make the team? I could either give them to friends? Just stick em by the windowsill for 12 hours a day and then put them in a dark spot for the night cycle? Build a little cheap grow box with some warm CFLs and try to pull a little bit from them?
Figure doing either of those is better than just throwing them away right? Maybe even give me a chance to experiment with different nutrients and conditions? Either way I don't think having a little early sample would be a bad thing at all seeing how I'll probably be vegging the real team for another 2-3 weeks.

So it has been a long ass time since I made any updates on here, some stuff actually came up and I didn't have the money to invest into the flowering equipment so I decided to just switch out the spectrum of the bulbs to warm CFLs and just see what happens. Well seeing how I am only giving them water and using around 17000 lumens worth of CFL's they are actually coming out to look pretty nice. Just going to let them go and see how they turn out because it was between this and just abandoning the whole thing let me know what you guys think.
They're just coming out of the second week of flowering after vegging for nearly 60 days!

no by shop lights i mean the fixtures that the CFLs are screwed into, the light sockets with clamps on them mostly used in shops and I 100 watt cfls are only 26 watts i meant the combination of all them
