like dude above me said, i tell people all the time - to me eating healthy its not reading the nutritional value on the sides of the boxes. its about making common sense decisions about what your putting in your body. stay away from highly processed foods, foods high in sugar - high fructose especially, drink lots of tea and water.

shit like that

Good advice.  My breakfasts are highly varied, though I do make smoothies with at least two large handfuls of raw spinach, half a banana, a splash of fruit juice & a couple of cubes of ice on the regular.  In fact, when I'm active I prefer breakfast to be my largest and most substantial meal of the day, because it ends up carrying me through the day without snack cravings.  Don't skimp on breakfast if you're an active person, better to eat early and have all day to burn it, than to starve yourself most the day and then eat a huge dinner that you just sleep on (I see people do this all the time, bewilders me truly).

Eggs are one of the highest quality foods you can eat.  What is "other bullshit"?

i always try to get a full days serving of fruits and veggies.

this is one of my favorite ways to make eggs:
make a single piece of toast (in a skillet, not in the toaster, butter the bread before it hits the hot pan)
saute veggies, whatever you have. i usually have spinach, zucchini, snow peas, onions, and peppers.
put the veggies on the toast, this is a good time to add a nice hard cheese if you have one.
cook eggs over easy, place to top of veggies and toast.
at this point i add hot sauce or salsa.
and that is it.
it's nice cuz you can change it up with what veggies you have, and you get protein, grain, veggies and dairy in one meal.

otherwise my breakfast is fruit and greek yogurt.
and coffee, always coffee.

Besides T-Rex people be doing it right, go everyone and OP for wanting to eat healthier.

I'll reiterate a great point: think about how your body is going to respond to what you're feeding it and your diet will become much better.

Cereal isn't horrible for starting the day, but everything else is better. Eggs and bread can be cooked up a dozen ways, but I'll still get tired of EGG eventually and stick to granola/yogurt for a bit before implementing it again. Eggs and lentils is quick and delicious supposedly, cream of wheat, smoke MOAR.

This thread makes me proud

Better how? Muesli is the most satiating breakfast food over time.
