Are they the same company under different names?
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

anyone have experience with both of these?
i did a lot of research before choosing general hydroponics as my nutrient line for my next grow. i decided to go with GH over advanced nutrients for several reasons:
1) GH is used by NASA... 2) GH has been around doing their thing since the 70's 3) GH is way cheaper than Advanced Nutrients 4) GH labels are simple. no gimmick, unlike advanced nutrients with their flashy names and cool looking bottles. this makes me think i'm getting dicked, and that GH is keepin it real.
dont get me wrong, im sure advanced nutrients is awesome, but the price, and the names and shit, too much flash for me. i think i can get the same results with GH. i mean, im growing a fucking weed... its pretty simple shit.

Yes Advanced nutrients is WAY over priced. But so are 90% of all nutrient lines on the market.
Which GH line did you go with? They have more than one.

i'm using general hydroponics flora series. i only had enough money for the flora micro, grow, bloom, and also got their "rapid start"
i wanted to go chemical instead of the flora nova series organic mix because i heard about a nasty slimey sludge buildup on the roots. to me, the flora series seemed like a good choice.

Okay, So while the floranova series can have a build up on the roots. This doesn't inhibit the growth of the plant or health of the roots. I have done DWC with floranova with great results, better than what I had with the regular GH nute line. But I also had more experience by the time I got into floranova, so that might be a little biased.
Just make sure you flush before you harvest.
