Summer Beer recipe.

This recipe is incredibly delicious, brew it.
Also feedback is welcome if anyone here knows what they're doing (I know geokills does...).
STATS: Original Gravity: 1.070 Final Gravity: 1.018 ABV (standard): 6.8% IBU (tinseth): 19.75 SRM (morey): 7.76
FERMENTABLES: 6 lb - White Wheat (43.6%) 3 lb - Pilsner (21.8%) 1 lb - Biscuit (7.3%) 0.75 lb - Flaked Oats (5.5%) 1 lb - Caramel / Crystal 10L (7.3%) 2 lb - Flaked Wheat (14.5%)
HOPS: 1 oz - Saaz (AA 3.5) for 60 min, Type: Leaf/Whole, Use: Boil 1 oz - Styrian Goldings (AA 5.5) for 15 min, Type: Leaf/Whole, Use: Boil 0.5 oz - Saaz (AA 3.5) for 5 min, Type: Leaf/Whole, Use: Boil
1.5oz Orange Zest 5 min. .5oz Corriander 5 min.
Mash @ 152 for an hour, boil for an hour.
Use WLP400 or Wyeast 3944

I'm going to give this to my girlfriend's brother. I lucked out and learnt that he actually works at a local brewery so I get free beer now. He also has a bedroom filled with brewing paraphernalia, will report back if he is interested

Do it! This is an all grain recipe though so there's a bit of a learning curve before hand, and a fair deal of equipment required, but you won't be sorry with the final product. It's like skipping over soil growing and diving straight into aeroponics, but if you do your research it'll be a whole new level of beer I'll be more than happy to help you out along the way as well.

Well shit son, you should be able to tell if it's good then just by reading it!
I brewed it today for the second time (although it's been tweaked quite a bit since the first round). Smelled amazing pre-ferment, so after some phenolic and ester input from the yeast I can't wait to see how it'll taste.

It could be decent, just reading what you are putting into doesn't mean that the person knows how to brew it properly though

Haha fact.
How do you think that recipe would do with a hefeweizen yeast or even a neutral ale yeast like WLP001? Might be an interesting experiment..... I'm brewing again with the girlfriend tomorrow and she wants me to make another batch of this (this beer is a serious panty dropper) so I'm debating making a second batch with a different yeast for a side-by-side comparison....

Just by looking at it I would say it would be perfect for a heff yeast. Also a belgian style would go well with something like that as well.

Well I've been brewing it with a witbier yeast which is of course the belgian wheat yeast equivalent of a heff yeast. I'm just not sure about the Clove phenols common for heff yeasts and they generally finish cloyingly sweet rather than that delicious tartness you find with Witbier yeast. Tough decision....

I'm thinking more the type that's out in chimay brand belgians. Champagne style bubbles.
Are you bottling or kegging. If you're bottling you can split it into two different smaller carboys and try it with 2 different yeasts so you don't waste a whole batch.

I force carb with CO2. Usually crash cool in the carboy for 2-3 days prior to kegging and carbing. I've done the bottle priming thing but it's not really my style. Too unpredictable and just all around not my favorite.

I also wonder if this recipe would be any good with a saison yeast. Might be frickin' incredible, or horrendous.
