Finally got some seeds going..
got 3 babies so far..
All germinated in peat pellets 85F using distilled water..Then transplanted to 3.5 inch pots with cheap potting soil seed starter mix.. Temps are 74 for a low and 82 for a high thru out the day.Will be using 5-1-1 fish emulsion fertilizer at 1 tsp per gallon of distilled water to start..Not sure what i'm using for flowering yet got a while to decide..This one is 1 week old today..Took 4 days to germinate and broke ground last thursday..
All ready has roots popping out..
2 others that broke ground monday .. 4 days to germinate also.

will post some pics tomorrow.. But until then the babies are recovering from living in acid..lol
my damn soil ph tester wasn't working..And my strips were fucked..So believing my testers i was thinking i had a ph of 7 when it was about 5.5
.Once i found out i tried raising ph , but didn't work good or fast enuff ..Finally got new soil and transplanted and they're recovering..REally surprised they aren't dead..Also started 3 more seedlings this week cause of the scare..But on a good note i got all new PH testing equipment and things are back on track..

Been a while ..Girls were put into flower 6/5 so 24 days..out of 6 plants 5 were female..1 got put outside..the other 4 are still here..Been a learning experience..Trying to grow in the smallest containers i can..Finally got it figured out.. I hope..

During Inspection and watering , i found a hermie..Smallest plant..3 hidden nanners..So down to 4, 3 in flower, 1 outside..
this one was the hermie..

Got bored and had some time..
Here's my ballast..35$ outdoor light..Added a heatsink which i see needs to be cleaned..
It's on a closet shelf i was thinking of using for veg and cloning..
have my temp humidity screen up there..85 last few days in this insane heat..Poor a/c is having a hard time keeping up..

extra darkness barrier..Usually close the closet doors durring night cycle too

Other than that not much new, girls are growing will post pics in a week or so..

Oh the african violet plant food is being used for flowering..Full strength "1/2 TSP - 1 gallon water" fed every other day.They also get flushed b4 feeding every other day.The day in between feedings they get ph 7 tap water.. Seems they need about 3 cups each to make it till the next flush / feeding..

5 weeks flowering "35 days" in the tub for flushing and feeding..
One of the girls getting some pink hairs...Will update again at 8 weeks..

Was checking the plants and found a cat hair ..took it off and hit a few trichomes.. Man the shortest plant in there has the strongest orange scent i've ever smelt..Tall indica dom smells like some kind of berry, and the sativa dom smells green yet..Some day it would be nice to grow bought seeds..But for seeds from a 60 $ oz i'm impressed so far..

No there's a 150 HPS up top..the 150 hps puts out 15,000 lumens
the 4 cfl combined is 5000 lumens..I just use em to add bottom and side lighting..
