I mean they're really the same thing man. One is just stronger than the other. But I would choose klonopin, mainly because I feel it gives me less memory loss than alprazolam.

not really, xanax has a way short half life and is meant for panic attacks. kpins aren't just 'weaker', they have a way longer half life and are meant to take at the beginning of the day for all day long anxiety.

Yeah in my experience I wouldn't really consider them the same. Similar but not the same, kind of like how codeine is different from hydrocodone.
I do agree that klonopin is nice because of the less memory loss though.

can you use it to take the edge of a weed buzz if you start to panic the way you can with xanax?

put xanax has gotten me in more trouble. and seems to be the case with lots of people
I hear many bad stories start with "so i took a couple xanax,"
