And teh recipe calls for 2oz unsweetened chocolate but i couldnt find any, will it make a big difference if i use pure milk chocolate chips instead?

no it should just be sweeter since the milk choc is already sweetened. might want to use more than 2 oz since its already sweetened assuming weight has been added from that.
