I never had much issue with it and add it to my res daily (though I do monitor the total chlorine regularly).  If I can track it down, I'll post up a study done on lettuce using a weekly shock dose of chlorine (i think the ppms were 1, 5, 20) if I can track it down again

In that small of a amount it'll be fine.  But you shouldn't be needing it on a regular application feeding schedule.

Wow,great feedback,Very informative quote about Hydrogen Peroxide.I think I will go with Phrostbytes suggestions.Not sure how to clean tank with plants in it though??Its pricy for me also, to use so much water, as I have to purchase in 5 gal jugs.

Your going to have to carefully lift the lid and slide out the res.  Find something to put underneath for a few mins.  You can just prop the lid up with something.

Hell Yes,IT WORKED! I emptyed the tank, and flushed for 48 hours with water and Hyd. peroxide (about 1 teaspoon per gal).Then I added nuted water (full strength) about 1/2" fron net cups.Now I have new WHITE root growth.My ladies are platinum blondes once again thanks again phrostbyte, and everyone who gave me help.

Good to hear glad I could help!  Keep an eye on them though.  Sometimes that shit can come back with vengeance fairly fast depending on what it was.
