lol, bm, you're totally right. A lot of people only see a stereotype when something like this happens. You're also right about questioning the worth of growing if you can't keep from burning down a mini fridge.
Fortunately though, I think, the people that will be responsible for the legalization of Marijuana will be the same people who don't see a stereotype when they look at a stoner, the same people that voted for medical marijuana. I also don't think there will be a federal legalization until a handful of states do it first.

I'm in a speech class at my university and we had to pick a topic to choose for all our speeches to be focused on, obviously i choose medicinal marijuana lol. My thesis is how can a country we call the UNITED States be so DIVIDED on the laws pertaining to medicinal mj on a state and federal level. It's true how can you operate a government effectively if it can't make it's mind up, you can't have some states allowing something that the federal government (which trumps all state laws) deems illegal. Not to mention the people making these laws have no backgrounds in medicine therefor how can they be trusted to make decisions regarding health? But this is all a completely different convo for a completely different thread lol
