Too late for molasses??

Plants are Pineapple Chunk, 50 days into flower. Should be ready by 65-70 days max.
Is it worth adding molasses to my last couple of feeds, or should I just wait until next time round?
Also can anyone tell me what ratio of molasses to use per litre..? Don't want to overdo it and clog my soil with goop and sugars. Was going to feed straight molasses maybe, just hoping to tweek the taste really and add bulk if possible..
Any advice or help would be sweet, new to soil so be patient with me.

Go ahead and add it, it can't hurt. If you were in Hydro I would say you'll definitely see some results but soil is a bit slower so you may not, but hey, it's all good practice.
I usually eyeball because molasses is a bitch to measure but shoot for about 2 Tbsp/Gallon

or your temps were too warm, not enough oxygen, or light leaks in your reservoir. I doubt the molasses was the sole issue.

Thank you Mr. Ba11sach.
I'll try it in a low quantity and see if I notice a sudden miraculous boost... We can but hope.
Just hoping the extra sugars would add to taste more than anything, I'm a sucka for flava.

Flavor is the goal with molasses more than anything. You'll get a little bit of a density increase if you use it for the last 4-5 weeks or so, but the smell and flavor boost is why I used it

Just what I wanted to hear, thanks again.

bit over a teaspoon per litre or tablespoon a gallon. approx.
and the goal is not to get sugar in the bud but get the bud to produce more terpenes and more size. sugar actually makes the bud harsh and the reason we cure weed is to break down the sugars so the smoke is smooth
cheers

Oh I know you don't get sugar/glucose etc in the bud, just that it and the carbs help nutrient uptake and conversion from what I've read.
Added molasses to warm water and let it sit for day, assume that might give some microbial action time to get under way.
Really just interested in ways to expand the beneficial microbe activity in my soil mixes.

I'll preface this by saying that I don't use molasses in my grows, but I've heard anecdotal evidence implying it can create magnesium problems with your soil if you use it long-term, or if you're a soil recycler (like me!).

Thanks for the tip, new to soil (indoor anyways) so still trying to get my head round all the options and work out what's what.
Been a long time since I grew so still finding my way a little, Pineapple Chunk looking a lot better this time round.
Received some clones last year that were about 2' and ready for flowering, so took some clones from them and stuck em in 24/0, unfortunately the coir mix they were in became, or was already, infested with some kind of bug/thrip/whatever.
1,000's of little buggers, only in the growing medium though, it was some coir mix, not sure as the guy I got them left the country, hence he wanted to get rid of them. Anyhow, those plants took forever and really sucked, they just wouldn't mature.
I'm assuming the bugs were feasting on the soil or roots or both.
With the clones I took and my own soil and organics they seem to be fluourishing, though my grow space is too small and I think 2-3 plants would have been better than 4.
They are 61 days in now (2 phenos w/really nice snow), in 4-5 days I'm gonna put them in darkness for 48hrs after a final heavy flushing with distilled water.
Is there a real benefit to 48hr photo-denial? Never tried it before though the mechanics make sense. Assume it's a good idea to leave a fan or 2 on to prevent possible mould?
Thanks again.

The light tricks at the end don't do shit in my own personal experience. I've tried both long periods of light and dark, now I just keep it on the normal on/off cycle
