A little question on veg food and root stims.

I want to mix FF Grow big (liquid) with a bit of GreenLight Root Stimulator (liquid)
Grow big: 6-4-4 and root stim is 5-15-5
Anyone know how to do the math on how much of both to add to say 1 gallon or even 5 gallons.. I m not too good in that department
I will work on stabilizing the ph level, I just want to make sure I don't mix to a point were i cause burn or root death.

Well that root stimulator is only meant to be used when transplanting. I wouldn't use it for just fertilizer applications.
When you go to use it I would mix 5mls per gallon solution, and not mix it with your normal fertilizer.
And to go one step further I wouldn't use that product. I would use this for root development.
http://www.house-garden.us/products/additives/roots-excelurator/
It's expensive, but you only need to use 1ml per gallon which makes it last a long time.

I read nothing but great things about that stuff. I personally never tried it.
I use RapidStart by genernal hydroponics, have you tried it yet. It's a bit cheaper and blows my mind with the results. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GENERAL-HYDROPONICS-RAPIDSTART-ROOTING-ENHANCER-275-ml-RAPID-START-GH-HYDRO-/250909024431?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6b57e0af

I haven't used it yet but will look into it. I just wouldn't want to use something with that high of a NPK for my root development, That's why I recommended going with the product I mentioned.

I wanted to go with vudoo juice or bio root.
But that stuff was 5$ at local garden shop
And I have mainly only used it for transplanting
I just wanted to give my roots a boost while they feed :P
Right now my plants are getting 1 Teaspoon of FF Grow Big and 2 Tablespoons of FF Big Bloom per gallon.
4 plants, each fed 1/4 gallon of the above twice a week.

Your roots don't need that stuff during their regular waterings. You could try using it, but that stuff has such a high NPK I would use it very sparingly.

Its not even really the N or K , its the P that's ridiculously high at 15%

Well it looks like people are using Xcelerator during veg and up to 4 weeks into flowering time. Sometimes you can find gems for cheap, but you usually get what you pay for. I would be a little wary of that product, as i said before, because of the nutrient levels in it.
You'd be better off getting a root assisting product that's designed for MJ. Then you can also use it with your regular nutrient line and not have to worry about it being too hot.

Next grow I am doing the full FF regiment, Grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, open sesame, beast bloomz and cha ching.
So I am not too worried about it, And I'll always start me seeds off with rootbooster / a little bit of super thrive. Never had problems

In which case, you might also want to check out:
http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/bush-doctor.html
Quote:
Bush Doctor Kangaroots is a liquid root drench formulation for use on in-ground plantings, container gardens and hydroponic systems. Use Bush Doctor Kangaroots on seedlings and mature plants throughout the growing season to enhance the proliferation of root mass development. Beneficial for fruits, flowers, vegetables, trees and shrubs.
And, you can find a feeding chart on their site, so theres no math or guessing to do
Haven't got the chance to try these out myself, but are worth looking into. I haven't been disappointed by FF yet.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?
