So last Friday I went to a couple magic tournaments, a FNM event for draft and a Prerelease for sealed, and I pulled a 56 dollar card.
shit's so cash
I'm going to sell that shit and either buy weed or use it to enter into another tournament/pay to finish a werewolf deck I want to build. Team Jacob FTW

I've got a few werewolves,
the concept is pretty sound but I don't think they've used it to it full potential yet.
if anyone has any white cards I'd be willing to trade or something, I've been wanted to make a white and/or white/red deck for a little while now

Well I pull Sorin, Lord of Innistrad at the Prerelease (He's an oreo). But He's getting sold for my entrance to the release party and some rares for my Red Deck Wins.
Stromkirk Noble is a fucking beast for a one drop though.

NEW CARDS, LOL
The REAL Magic the Gathering has been out of production for years.
Anything after legions can suck my balls.
Well there is like one expansion more before they raped the card design and turned it into pokemon.
After that, no thanks. I wont even play you , except for lols, if you use new cards unless they existed in older expansions.
As far as playing for credibility, like who is better, i will play old against old and if you INSIST on using shitty new cards i may play u with new cards but never old versus new as it is IMO an entirely different game.
New expansions, and many old fans agree, are an insult to us magic fans.
it still hurts to this day that they wont just make a new expansion of the Real MTG cards and stop with this yugio bullshit.

The game still plays nothing like Yugio and Pokemon though.
But the power creep is still crazy. The fact that the new set has some black aggro cards that almost made me want to do R/B vampire aggro kind of depresses me.
I remember when a 2/3 for GG was amazing, or even a 1/1 first strike for R or W.
It honestly wasn't that bad from my perspective until after Ravnica, but kamigawa was pretty fun too.
I mostly play Draft/Sealed though because it's a game within a game. It turns deck building into it's own little game.

Also I actually have an Elf Deck that is from legions. Probably my most powerful deck.

i have more than enough Real cards to enjoy the game and employ different strategies and all of my MTG buddies are in agreement so i honestly never even think of new cards and to us it is another game entirely.

I just like going to FNM and release/prerelease parties to much. 
I have a nasty habit of selling most of my cards after each set.

I know, i love FNM and wizard stores and the whole scene.
Its a shame really that i cant get over the new design but i just cant.

It's sad how much the power creep has creeped, but i really don't know how else they were going to avoid printing the same card a million times with different names.
I just hate that vanilla 1/1's for 1 mana are no longer considered to be awesome as fuck. I mean for example the Red-Deck-Wins deck i'm making has a 1/1 for R that can't be blocked by humans, the same card also gets a +1/+1 counter everytime it deals damage to a player. Another 1/1 for R transforms into a 3/2 if nobody plays a spell in a given turn (but back into the 1/1 if someone casts 2 spells in a given turn). Then there is a 2/1 for (1)R that must attack each turn, but also get's a +1/+1 counter when it deals damage to a player. And another one that costs (1)R is a 1/1, but if a player was dealt damage on the turn it was cast it gets 2 +1/+1 counters on it.
It's such an aggressively costed deck it's insane, I mean it doesn't have any lightningbolt quality burn spells because there isn't much burn this set. But it has stuff like what i posted further up for it's burn (which is used more just to kill the other players creatures than it is to burn the enemy [a by-product of not having much awesome burn in the set]).

I'm looking to build either
a straight white angel themed deck
or a red/white deck
if anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it
I've never used a white deck but I know they are generally about getting as many low level creatures into play as quick as possible
