Oh yeah you're in Denver, right? This storm is ridiculous!
My house has almost 2 feet by now. The foothills west of here are approaching 3 feet according to some of my friends up there. That's fucking ridiculous.

yea there's a few here down south, but they're all just seasonal moutains that never get awesome snow like the US or Canada, its more like shaved ice

Well I don't know for the rest of canada's ski stations, but here, they only last during winter, during summer most of them become thangs to walk through the trees on ropes n shit (I seriously tried very hard finding the real word for this, but fuck it)

Right now, for this time of the season, we don't have shit...
3 to 6 feet of snow at the most, when normally at this point of winter we would have around 20+ feet, at least. Shit, there have been times when more snow has fallen in a single day than what we have received so far this winter, last year there were a few days where 4 to 6 feet would fall in a 24 to 36 hour period.
It's ridiculous, I have never seen a winter so dry in my life. In contrast, the winter of 04/05, I was on the mountain riding 4 feet of fluffy dry powder a week before Halloween, and there was enough snow to ride until late June  . Most places around here picked up 50 to 75 FEET (15 to 23 meters) of snow that year. The entire season consisted of chest deep powder runs and epic bluebird days with soft & fast groomers, epic!
I just want this so called "winter" to be over with already.

I've seen some clips of cal-trans removing the snow in late May/early June. Talk about a sketchy job, there is nothing that marks the road, they have to make several passes just to get down to the road surface.
During a good season the snow banks get so high it feels like you're driving through a canyon...plus side, if ya spin out all you're going to do is bounce off the snowbank.
And I've seen this happen a few times, where the snow accumulates so high that it reaches the chair lifts. They have to block off the area under the lift so people don't collide with the dangling skis and snowboards of the lift riders .

Arvada was 19in.
