 Leaf Buds!

So, I've heard of this phenomenon but I've never seen it first hand.
I have an autoflower girl I was growing out. Shes under 24/0 of CFL and shes right around 60 days old today. I was growing her for seed and just kinda experimenting about with her. I only really fed her water throughout the grow (mainly to see how much I'd need to feed this strain if I do it outdoors in the summer) and this is the first auto I've kept under full 24/0 light.
The seedling was a runt, and the only female of 5 seeds that I had popped. The males had odd mutant leafs too, I'm thinking maybe its the strain.
Anyway, I noticed a lot of her seeds were about to fall off this morning, and so I was picking them out and accidentally broke off a leaf, which to my surprise came with this small bud! I started inspecting the other leafs, and it looks like quite a few of them have these leaf buds.
Its neat to see, and I kinda hope it is passed on to my seedlings.
Sorry for her messy appearance. She has some deficiencies from me just giving her plain water. It was an experiment

Blue Himalaya Diesel. It has such a sweet blueberry smell. I'm torn whether or not I want to roll her all up, or hashify her. The buds will all be broken up by me to get the remaining seeds out so it won't really be worth jarring and saving for smoke, but I think I'll still smoke her because she smells so fine!

I've never heard of it doing this before, so I'm assuming its because mine was a mutant. I've never grown out that particular strain before this seeded female, so I'm not sure.
I have a few more seedlings started now...one for sure male, hoping for a few females to pollinate.

NICE!!!!!! I FUCKING love these things. it's sooo cool. This happened to my last grow as well....

After it happened with mine I did an internet scavenger hunt to find a ton more like it. It happens. It really seems to happen to BOG's LSD and blue moon rocks a lot too. I've actually got two BMR's and one LSD going right now, though ive seen no stem or leaf buds.
Are there any seeds inside that little leaf bud?
