they sprayed for bed bugs in my building like a 2 years ago, i'm sure their due to do it again in the near future. In order to grow good weed you need to be part carpenter, electrician, plumber, biologist, geneticist, chemist, and very willing to get dirty.
I've been working with power tools since I was 8, my dad is an electrical engineer who owned a 280 gal fish tank, and I studied biology with a specialty in genetics. Getting dirty comes naturally. I think my parents inadvertently trained me to be a weed grower.

Just thought i'd do a little written update....
I just finished mixing my next feed.
I increased the Amount of nutes to 45% the advised amounts, heres the measurements...
62ml of Sensi Bloom A and B
31ml of Big Bud
31ml of Bud Candy
and i added 12 grams of Piranha.
ppm is 487
All this went into 9 Gallons of tap water, i will adjust the PH b4 i change the water tomorrow as the PH will rise slightly as the chlorine evaporates and nutes mix and stabilize in the water.
Will follow up tomorrow night with pics!

Hi guys, well i took some pics of the tent today, hope you enjoy! 
Left side of the table. all the plants are doing well, Though i still have a small white tip problem...its can't be nute burn as the ppm last feed was only 360 ppm. Still it doesn't seem to affect growth, but it still bugs me...

The Auto flower plants, they haven't seemed to grow too much, honestly apart from the fact they flower despite the light cycle i'm not too impressed....
My mother plants, i was going to keep one in vege but since my OB's are now sexed(got 2 fems out of 5 seeded) i don't need to use a femmed AK47 for clones for my next batch so all 3 are being flowered with the table..
you may noticed this one is on its side, well i squashed it by mistake last week and obviously broke some supporting roots, still it recovered quickly but i didn't bother staking it up and just left it as is...still shes doing great!
PPM this feed is at 487, will increase nutes another 15% next feed. Everythings looking good at this point. started to add the bid bud this week, last feed with piranha today though, which is good as that shits freekn costly...

Just thought i would post a quick written update about the dual arc bulb...
Personally i think the dual arcs should be used in a vertical position rather than horizontal. this would give a better mix of the light being emitted from the 2 bulbs. As is there is noticeable better growth on the left side of the table versus the right. Mainly because the left side is getting more intense blue light than the right. We'll have to wait and see how this effects the final results, but from a first look i'd say use a parabolic reflector with a dual arc to get the best from both bulbs/Spectrum's.

WOW,looking good man,and autos do a lot better under 24/0,so that could be why they aren't growing as fast.They still look a heck of a lot better than my current miniature plants

Thanks man, i read optimum light conditions are 18/6 for these lowryder2 auto's if i want max height/yield, honestly i wasn't expecting much outta them and they where free seeds anyways. My first time trying auto flowering plants, don't intent to do them again unless i get more freebies...
Man my buddy just brought over my 2 Orange bud moms, man do those plants STINK of Orange/citrus, even in vege... can't wait to get those into the table for my next batch.. I'm feeling good about this current grow, think i'm going to get a decent yield even with flowering so small...from the looks of it, it seems like flowering at 6-7 inches in my table would give me best results. When i do the OB's i'll wait till all plants are atleast 6' to flower.
Hey Dr.G, you got a grow in the works? if so what u got goin on?

I see,I only tried growing autos a few times under 24/0.never got to finish the grows though,because the first time the three I had were males,then the second time the fungus gnats destroyed them from the roots:-(I'd like to give em a whirl again,outdoors this spring:-)But yeah,you will get a good harvest,by the looks of it:-)And I don't really have much of anything going on right now.My roommate wont allow it!Although I'm currently working on a Purple Skunk and White Widow cross grow journal,if you want to check it out:-)I really shine at outdoor cultivation,and last years plants topped out at 8 to 9 feet,Those were the tallest!This is just a little project to keep me from going mad through the winter:-)You van check it out in the grow journals,but don't expect much

Hi guys, its Friday here so that means water change and a Update! so this time i bumped up my nutes to 65% the recommended amount, here's the break down:
89ml of Bloom A+B
45ml Voodoo Juice
45ml Big Bud
45ml Bud Candy
10grams of Piranha
ppm is at 766 in 9.5 gallons of water.

Mothers, i trimmed off all the fan leaves on two of them but got lazy with the third. I also gave the plants in the table a major trimming, though that was on Monday so its kinda hard to tell now..

Everything is going great, still have a few white tips but the voodoo juice seems to have cured this prob on the majority of the plants.

day 21 of flower....
Another Friday, So another Update! i bumped up my nutes to 85% this week, here's the break down...
122ml each of Sensi Bloom A and B
61ml of Big Bud
61ml of Bud Candy
discontinued voodoo juice and Piranha as they are no longer needed.
PPM is at 980 in 10 Gallons of water.
Full table shot, plants are looking real nice, i trimmed off the Top fan leaves yesterday so more light will reach the smaller flowers.

Moms...oh and i forgot to mention that the plants in pots are being fed using technaflora nutes, just the regular bloom formula with no additives. As these plants where much more mature when flowering started they seem to be about 5 days ahead of the table in flower development. Which is to be expected...
 
 
The Autos...honestly i don't think they have grown much at all, they are eating up their feed quick, but i don't see much growth or much of anything really...though i must say they smell awesome!
  
I didn't have enough space available to upload the pics of the third mom and more close up bud shots, so i'll do that over the next few days.

That sux about your laptop man, and thanks for the observation things are going really nicely. Though the plants really started to smell over the last few days, even with my carbon filter i can notice a slight smell in my room, and when i open my tent woo-oh its getting stinky.

Day 35 of flower..
Another Friday, another update!
I got a little nute burn on some fan leaf tips so i reduced the nute amount back to 90%, discontinued big bud this week, so all thats gone in is Bloom A+B and Bud Candy. I originally was going for a 7 week flower, but since i flowered the plants so small its obviously going to be close to 8 weeks. Though the plants in pots look like they will finish about 4 or 5 days ahead of the table...anywho heres the nute break down...
122ml of Sensi Bloom A and B
60ml of Bud Candy
PPM is at 878 in 9.5 gallons of water PHed to 5.5
