So I knocked up a plant a few weeks ago, but it seems I got her too early on. Only her first few calyxes are pollinated and making seeds.
Her hairs are 90% still white, except where she was pollinated.
I ran out of pollen and I have popped a few more seedlings. I'm sure at least one of them will be a male, and I'd like to pollinate her again.
By the time that rolls around, the plant will probably be in her twilight. I know it takes anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks for a plant to make good seeds.
If I were planning on harvesting her for BUD, I would want to pick her at X weeks. However, since I just want the plant for SEED, how many weeks past her peak harvest date can a plant survive and make seeds?
i have kept seed plants alive 5+ weeks after the bud was truly finished. the seeds start to fall out

also seed plants need just as much nutrients as any other plant. maybe even more. you don't want a few hundred shity seeds.
